Everybody has been saying that the TOTs hospital mask is the maniac, and while it does obviously look just like it… I think it might be the evolution actually, the evolution has a warped left eye and it looks more like the TOTs hospital in my opinion… I think the maniac looks a lot better but I don’t know if Justin has ever confirmed it or anything I could be wrong but hopefully I’m right and the new poster mask is the actual maniac let me know if anybody has any info on the actual 100% confirmed origins or opinions u guys have thanks
It’s all using night owl sculpts for the Myers line except for the KNB, Resurrection, H20 and the H4, H5 masks
I always thought it was from the Maniac. I think it might be slightly different from the original mold though. It’s supposed to be the H4 Cover mask I believe, but TOTS didn’t have the licensing rights at the time of the masks release so they called it the hospital mask. Like when they released the Elrod mask, which was supposed to be an H1 mask but they didn’t have the rights

The Hospital mask and the upcoming poster mask are in fact the Maniac sculpt. I’m almost certain that Justin confirmed this back in 2016 when the hospital mask was coming out. A quality re-haul will bring out that Maniac look your after.
I’m not sure if it will tbh, the original maniacs have a longer stretch to them where as the TOTs hospitals mask are kind of smashed and wide and warped and it just looks a little funny man
Well, there’s always the option of just seeking out an actual Maniac. I’ve seen some pretty great re-hauls of the Hospital mask though
But it’s not about what I think looks good, that’s only in your eyes that matters.
Yes hopefully the new poster mask resembles the original maniacs better for sure I’m gonna buy one

Yeah we shall see. I’m actually surprised we haven’t seen it go up for pre-order yet. Usually by now there is at least something from their yearly catalog up for pre-order, but literally nothing is up yet and we are heading into March. Getting things before Halloween should be interesting.
Yeah and the newest knife they offered has been for pre order on the website for a while it doesn’t say buy it now it says pre order I’m sad
