TOTS Masks Online vs Stores

Hey all, wasn’t sure where to post this but I’m wondering if there is a difference in quality with the masks you buy direct from trick or treat studios versus what you buy at a store such as Spirit Halloween?

I’ve noticed that the masks in the store have the cardboard connected to the top of the mask versus the side of it, but is there any other difference? I’ve bought masks from Amazon as well as the chain stores and just wanted to see what others thought?

As a side note, I know they are mass produced masks, but there were a couple of the 2018 masks in the store that were questionable at best… Hair not glued on certain spots and clearly seeing the finish and paint peeling off.

From personal experience and mostly reddit. The difference between copies usually vary with paint. The only available copies in stores are H2/Myers Deluxe, Ends & 2018 and possibly Kills.

The paint on the store copies seem to be significantly worse than the ordered copies, other then maybe the H4 copies varied with the neck extension but to my knowledge Spirit and Party City no longer carry those copies.

Store copies are also always being worn, touched, pulled, etc. they are abused out the gate by customers, I’d always recommend buying straight from TOTS and ordering it in a timely fashion! Hope this helps!
