TOTS just posted this on Instagram. If you look at TOTS other pins, they use the exact same photo of the mask on their website to make their pins. So imagine this pin being a real mask. Basic idea of what their new 1978 mask will be.
Interesting. I’m looking forward to their new h1 h4 and h5, mainly hoping they put out a very accurate h5 sculpt.

Same here man, only good h5s out there right now imo are ghastly pro and the revenge of the 5th. We could use more solid h5s

It is an enamel pin. A very simplified item. I doubt the mask will be based on that.
I’ll wait until I see what gets delivered to customers…
I’ll order all 3 of the new masks, but I’ll say this… What we get will look twice as bad as what is pictured and and hair on all of them will be pure garbage.

Looks like a clean version of the H18 mask, especially with those eye cuts. It could just be the drawing giving off that vibe though. Regardless, can’t wait to see the mask itself, along with the H4 and 5 masks.

I actually said back when those photos of the clean H18 came out, that it could very well be what they use for the 78 mask. I am not opposed to that idea at all, as I love how that clean H18 looks in those photos. I mean, technically, it was going to be used for a flashback scene meant to be from 78, so it makes sense. Mabry did the sculpt, so this could be the “new” sculpt they are talking about. Or not, but if it is, I am down for a clean H18, I would be happy with that, it does look great.

I will be honest though, I hope this is not sold in one size, it should be 3 sizes, it’s gonna easily be sold out though, which is enough to have them produce them in 3 sizes, if the finish is like this, it would be enough too
Just to be a dissenting voice, I’ll be disappointed if they sell the Clean18 as their H1 mask. As cool as the new mask is, I was hoping for something more accurate to the original ‘78, like an affordable Shat. Sell the Clean as well, by all means…

You mean the actual Shatner mask right ? Yes, they do. But I meant something based off the Night Owl Shat or Creep.
The Kirk and the Elrod both are the shat/creep mold, both of which TOTS sells

I thought the Elrod is based off the Psycho ? Regardless, the actual ‘as received’ Elrod doesn’t really look H78 accurate. That’s what I’m getting at
