If anybody is having trouble removing a hairline I recommend using Lacquer thinner. It usually dissolves the glue on them for me
Use a cotton tip on a dremel or lacquer thinner they both work but the dremel quicker
Any tips on painting those cracks in the h40? I was overall pleased at how my first rehaul came out but the cracks could’ve been better.

Awesome man that looks great! Have you seen Reme’s work? RemZap studios did an early Kills version that was surprisingly accurate. His new one is incredible and he’s raffling it off. I think it ends today actually. Here is a quick look

Use the dry brush technique it works amazing and the final result almost always has good detail

No I’ve only talked to him on Instagram as well and vids. He lives in Manitoba so he’s quite a ways for me I’m in Alberta. Super talented artist though.
Having a difficult time finding something local to mix with acrylic. I don’t want to order any latex right now because of freezing + shipping cost but I still want to paint my mask while it’s winter and I’m inside a lot. Is pros-aide for PAX paint available locally, like at a pharmacy, Walmart, etc? Other option of course is rubber cement paint, but I’m not sure how it compares to latex/acrylic in terms of longevity. There seems to be very limited info on it, but all ingredients are locally available. Any help is greatly appreciated!

More progress on my Hk mask!
Any tips on how to do washes over rubber cement paint? Love the adhesion and flexibility (no tiny flex cracks like I was getting with acrylic), but the surface is very sticky when I’m done and I find it’s hard to do the wash and wipe effect without it sticking too much and leaving too much paint or taking the paint underneath with it. Also you have to thin it out with naptha so if you make it thin for a wash, it takes the paint off underneath it. Kind of frustrating trying to figure it out. Any help is greatly appreciated
