Tramer conversion progress (first time trying out an airbrush!)

Here’s the progress on my TOTS tramer conversion. So far it’s just the flesh tone, but i’m kind of proud, considering it’s my first time working with an airbrush! what do you guys think? constructive criticism is always welcome!

That looks great!! Keep it up!! Please post some more pictures as it progresses!

take your time, go slow, build up thin layers, clean the tip often, control the airflow so you don’t get those latex boogers blown and stuck to the mask.

It’s not like painting with a brush, it’s better to go slow with thin layers and build it up, than try to paint a solid thick layer. That leads to runs and ‘boogers’.

Airbrushing is fun, have fun with it.

Got ya! I’ll keep that in mind when i do the white. How would i go about removing/smoothing down the “boogers”?

I definitely will! Thank you!

ahhhh, stripping it down and doing it over. If you pull them out you’ll leave holes and rip the layer of latex paint.

also make sure you clean the mask first before you paint it. I like naptha as a quick cleaner, it helps the paint stick to the latex when the latex is squeeky clean. .
