I had a tough beginning of the week…Kidney Stone surgery. For the last 45 days, I have been miserable. Some-days would be better than others, some days just painful. I don’t wanna preach to anyone but…give up soda…give up the energy drinks…
Anyway, the highlight of my week has been the arrival of these. I picked up the officially licensed Halloween II mask just yesterday and the quality is unbelievable for a mass-produced mask. The pull is perfect, the paint is spot on to the the pictures on the website. It’s a perfect example of what quality is. The mask is unstuffed…just on a Styrofoam head.
They Live… There are iconic masks from Don Post Studios, Distortions Unlimited and Be Something Studios and now…THIS ONE! Absolutely the coolest mask of the year! Trick or Treat Studio’s HITS this one outta the park. This is a license that I can’t believe was never picked up by a company. Bravo Chris and Justin. This mask is identical to any pictures of the proto; that in a feet itself is a HUGE compliment. My favorite mass-produced mask of the year! BY FAR! The mask is unstuffed, just placed on a paper towel roll.
Love the They Live mask! It’s definitely one of my favorite masks from TOTS. It’s great to finally have an officially licensed mask from the movie; like you, I can’t believe that it took this long. Also, I feel your pain when it comes to kidney stones. I’ve had a few attacks myself in the past five years or so. Luckily, I’ve passed all of mine so far, so surgery wasn’t necessary. I’ll never forget my first bout with them, before I knew what the problem was. I thought for sure there was something seriously wrong. I’ve never felt pain like that in my life.
Yup,TOTS masks are no joke.I own a standard and blood tears H2 as well as a Gunther from The Funhouse.I need many more of their masks in the near future.You have a couple of amazing pieces there,Billy.Sorry to hear about your painful issue, but hopefully that is something way behind you.I hope you are doing well.Thanks for sharing these amazing new pick-ups with us!!
Sorry about the rough week and hopefully things will be better. One of my favorite masks in a long time is the They Live piece. Just amazing quality and I may be ordering more. I know TOTS has some mind blowing things coming down the pipeline. Next year will take it to another level for sure!!!
Sorry about the rough week brother, been going through allot as well so I’m right there with ya, life just likes to shitt down our throats sometimes but we’ll make it through it. Probably my favorite post so far with these TOTS masks very nice looking copies. Congrats man, do some worn shots for us!
Yeah, those TOTS masks were really nice to see in stores this year. I bought one last year and almost bought another this year just because. It really makes it difficult to shell out a few hundred on an indie mask when you can buy these for $45. I imagine there will be more to come in the future including one modeled after the original film. It’s inevitable.
I love my TOTS as well, did a neck job on it just to make it fit better(see tots Smile post) and retouch to blend in the nose, but the overall quality is fantastic.Immediate hair spray required tho My tots 2 sheds like a afghan with mange!

Everytime I look at my They Live mask I want to watch the movie. Everytime. I guess if that is not good marketing I don’t know what else is. The paint work on this mask is insane for a mass-produced mask…insane.
Well that makes me feel a little better… water is all I drink to I guess level out the amount of energy drinks & other bad liquids I consume every show & every day.
Phosphoric acid, Salt and High Fructose Corn Syrup promote Kidney Stones. ALL of those are in Energy Drinks and Soda. Being dehydrated is the number one reason people get Kidney Stones and that is what happened to me…I never drank enough water and I paid the price. If you wanna feel what it feels like giving birth…5x’s fold, drink up. Liquor is 3rd on the list as being a dehydrant and getting Kidney Stones. I won’t even go into what the stage lights do to you. If I were you, I’d drink water all day long.
Thanks man. It’s such a fun mask. I really want to get it autoed by John, Keith, Roddy and Meg. If only I could get Jeff Imada to sign it too. (He played almost all of the Alien’s in the movie and was John’s Stunt Cord.)

Billy here’s my TOTS H2 retouch. I apllied 3 shades of grey(pardon the pun) to blend in the nose and get rid of the shine. The last pic is before paint but with Velcro in the back of the neck area so the mask really fits, so much I can smile as you can see the difference before and after.
just ordered that one the other day together with a scarred one from the RZ movies. hope they look as good in real life than on the pics. those were really promising!
My chicky went to Chicago a couple days back for work and picked me up a whole sleoo of Trick Or Treat Studios goodness. I think she went to 2 or 3 different costumes shops and here is what she hauled back for me. Incredible pieces and quality pieces…enough can’t be stated. I mixed in the Myers and the They Live and they have a pretty cool flow of harmony going; that was always what I liked best about either Distortions or Don Post Studios…they have a certain flow. Trick or Treat has that flow.
