Yes def go lighter . And the right side (mask right, not your right when your looking at picture) cheek line needs to be adjusted a bit .

Shadowing on forehead is different. Good first attempt!

You did well, however to achieve the look you’re going for, you should start by using painter’s tape to mask off the hairline. Then, use a plastic shopping bag to cover the hair and ensure the face of the mask is not covered. Next, apply white plasti-dip spray paint with a gentle misting technique, mainly at a downward angle and from a distance. Remember to keep the action light, and you will be amazed by the results! Don’t forget to bring some of that into the neckline; very little, almost barely any. Also, don’t leave the tape on there! Pull it back ASAP. Let it dry, then gently hit the eye-cuts with a little bit of watered down black acrylic, like eyeliner, keep ‘em at very thin lines, no globs. :v:

Should be noted to use delicate surface painters tape… regular painters tape can leave a residue over time.

Yes, especially if you’re heavy handed… or don’t know wth you’re doing!? All good though, don’t fool yourself even PROS make mistakes like newbs… no one ever admits it though. Learn from your mistakes, even if you repeat them. Stop when you make an oops and start over, count to ten, walk away, breathe then start again.
