Been a member here for a little while, but this is my first post.
Has anyone purchased a Michael Myers mug from the Turkeymerck.com site? He is doing a release again soon - wanted to get some opinions if anyone has purchased mugs from there?

But I cannot spend $400 to drink my coffee, I got priorities lol

Agreed. $400 for a good Myers mask is one thing, but $400 for a mug… nope no way.

There is nothing official or licensed about it lol. Try finding on google without using Turkey Merck in your description.
Nothing…Nadda…zilcho…and anyone silly enough to spend that kind of money on a coffee mug needs serious
Psychiatric help…just sayin’…
After looking into this further I am also questioning the licensing. It says officially licensed Michael Myers mug but the Halloween logo is not associated with it at all. The name is trademarked with the “R” which means it should be registered with the patent & trademark office, however the price is too high for me to go for this. I can see the thing dropping and breaking. Game over lol
They’ve already been sold out, he does this with all his cups/tumblers. You get one day and like 4-5 opportunities to order one, and that’s it. They’re not made to order, he does a preorder and does them in batches. The guy is legit and sells different sculpts constantly.
Regarding the officially licensed, not sure about that aside that Justin Mabry helped him out with the first run. Maybe it has something to do with that. The price seems high yes, but each piece is hand painted and glazed. If you’ve ever done ceramic work you also know the kiln takes it’s fair share of casualties as well.
Now I’ve never shelled out the money for one his mugs, but I will say he’s great to do business with. I’ve sold him a mask and purchased a mask from him. Hell when I reached out about the mask he grabbed from me (I regretted selling it after about a year or so) he was more than willing to sell it back for the same price and shipped the next business day. I wouldn’t be to worried about doing business with him. Look him up on FB and IG, he’s been around for a little while. It’s not like he’s just doing these Myers mugs to make a quick $ and screw people over, he makes tons of awesome horror mugs.
absolutely amazing work. Easily one of the coolest Halloween/Myers items I have ever seen. That said, no way in hell would I ever be able to afford to pay that much for a mug
Wow, I had no idea Turkey Mecks mugs went for this much. But if someone is willing to pay $400 for a mug, more power to them. I don’t see anything wrong with it. I mean, we’ve dropped hundreds, if not thousands of dollars on rubber masks.
I went ahead and grabbed the tumbler version from the last run. Yeah they’re expensive, but the way I look at it is I pay crazy prices for masks. Masks are art and art sometimes can get expensive and this is just another form of art. That will only be displayed and not used, just like many of my masks. That’s why I just got the tumbler version.
These things are huge, I’ll include a pic of it with a regular coffee cup next to it for comparison. The detail is pretty crazy. They are in fact a licensed product as well. He mentioned that he received a cease and desist order, and then was offered the license during the initial run.
