Two Heros: The Chef and Superior 78s

If you had told me in 1978 that one day I would own a screen-accurate shape costume, I would have been hard-pressed to believe you. If you had told me the same thing even as soon as 10 years ago, I’d probably have the same response. We all know about the plethora of masks available to fans today and everyone here has their favorite(s). But as far as I’m concerned, there is absolutely no debate when it comes to two components of the ultimate H1 shape cosplay: The Chef knife and Superior 78 H1 Shape Suit are as close to the real thing as you can get. Younger fans may not be able to appreciate this as much as those of us with a few more years on us, but thanks to fantastic fan-artists like The Hedge and Creepy Customs, I can assure you that there has never been a better time to be a Halloween fan. If authenticity is important to you, give these two gentlemen a DM. You won’t regret it.

thank you for the write up, Barry!

Never been a better time for the purists, I agree

Thanks, Barry!

Collectors like you are who make this hobby great.

It was a happy little accident my replicas took off when Connor was gearing up to release his suit, and I’m absolutely thrilled with the response and enthusiasm people have shown for each.

I have a feeling this year’s HalloweeN pictures are going to be bonkers, man! I wish this stuff was available when I was a kid! Lol.

I’m proud to have contributed a very very small story in the hobby’s history.

Best,
HEDGE
