UE5 Halloween fan game, made some characters and vehicles

Still a work in progress but getting there, these are some of the characters and vehicles I’m working on…This will be free to play for anybody that wants to play, it will be hosted on a private server just for the hardcore Halloween fans, it will be available in VR too :slight_smile: :supz:

You can watch the vid here to see how it looks in game, like I said still a work in progress lol : https://www.youtube.com/@3D_Films/videos

Excellent! :jack_o_lantern::beers:

:slight_smile: Thanks Caleb!

That’s awesome! The characters look very accurate and the graphics have a nice Halloween vibe to them.

Thanks bro! Yeah it’s turning out way better than I thought it would lol

These look great!! :hocho::jack_o_lantern:

I’ll gladly play it in VR, it’ll be fun to do it!

Thanks! Bob and young Myers were the hardest to get to look right, especially Bob, there’s no shots of him in the movie in good light, and young Myers has only the opening shot, but he “Kinda” looks like Bob, you gotta have Bob in there though lol

It would be fun! Still have to figure out the VR stuff lol, but I have somebody with more knowledge of that kinda thing helping out, it WILL be in VR for sure though eventually, I want to try it myself :smiley:

Well VR tech has got great advantages, the main thing would be setting up the game itself in Unity to run as a VR system and rigging the models correctly
the fortnite myers works great here’s me using it

OOh nice! I use UE5 though not unity, fortnite was made in UE5…I can’t switch to Unity at this point, Im just barely understanding UE lol To lean another program would take too much time, Unity is cool af though…Can I see a vid of some of the gameplay you got going in Unity?

I can just record some stuff, but my file sizes would be huge

Just a suggestion :slight_smile: for quick recordings I usually use a screen recording software just to see how it looks, you can set the quality how you like it, smaller files but still look good, if you use Nvidia graphic cards it has very decent screen recording software in the GeForce Experience, in Unity just go full screen and capture with that, it’s fast and simple…Its good sometimes to record it like that , see how it looks instead of rendering out full quality vids all the time…Just a suggestion, it helps my workflow .

Ah for Unity stuff, there’s tons of videos on that, though to record the model I use OBS, and compressing that is still a lot
