i would say the new hero is brackett since he was the one who was fighting michael the whole time
instead of loomis. plus brackett is the one who helped kill michael in the end.
Yeah brackett was really the only character they seemed to have wanted you to care for and he kinda took it in his hands to personally take down michael in the end.
i ust wish rob would have had or made loomis care more or atleast have him be
more with the story instead of being a selfish money hogging man who only cares
about his book. that one of the main reasons i didn’t like the movie that much.
Loomis was the unlikely hero. He was a douchebag throughout the movie and then at the end he tried to redeem himself. He was the “hero”.
It’s easy to figure out who the hero was in the film, Michael Myers of course!

Exactly! I actually loved the spin the RZ put on Loomis’s character arc. The only problem is that he kinda changed too quickly. We should have had a longer scene or a few scenes where Loomis comes to the realization that he fucked up. A good place to start would have been when Linda’s father shows up at the signing.
