Just wondering if there is a video that shows how much more Nag’s latex stretches when compared to the rather rigid tots latex. Does nag’s stretch anywhere near as much as the older Don Post variety?
NAG’s latex is very soft and stretchy bro, very nice latex. My 75K Castle is a very stretchy mask. It’s hard to explain without actually having it in your hands to see for yourself, but it is VERY soft and very much stretchy.
It’s stretchy and soft but seems prone to rotting and cracking over time.

It’s more prone to rotting and cracking if WORN extensively. Nightowl masks seem to hold up longer than Nag Masks. For example, masks like the NNM78 4 stamp still last and are perfect condition to this day.
I think it has to do with how much the mask has been worn and treated. If it was worn like crazy and sweated heavily in it for an extensive time, the mask will more likely rot.
But if you take great care of it and rarely wear it or never wear it or just tried it on, nag latex can last a lifetime.
I’ve seen a 2008 H78 mask still in great shape and no signs of rot. However, I’ve seen newer nag masks that has been worn extensively, and it rotted. For some reason, Nightowl masks still hold up.
Can be quality of latex too and adding on to care and environment factors.
I had a 75K that I took exceptional care of, never wore once, and unfortunately it did start to rot. It was from when Nik first changed over to that translucent medical latex stuff or whatever it is. I also have an NDMM2 that is cast in the same stuff and luckily it seems to be fine, but it’s a gamble. You really need to keep the stuffed well too, they tend to lose their shape over time.
Every single mask I have that is RD407 shows no signs at all of breaking down.

Yea rd407 is best latex won’t rot forever man heard nag latex is prone to rot which sucks just paid a crazy amount for one luckily it’s a thicker pull thanks to the dude who order it he ask for thicker pull but still I plan to wear it no matter what I love the mask u only live once, Once my spot in JC list comes up that’s the mask I’ll never wear and keep safe, and then I want one to wear on Halloween every year !!
Rd407 is what tots uses right?

Pretty well known at this juncture that NAG latex seems to have a shorter life. Everyone is is different in how they wear or care for their collection, but I’ve heard from several folks that claim their mask began to rot sooner rather than later
How did the don post latex compare to the different current latexes?
I heard things like that too. Seems like maybe when nikos switched over to the medical stuff and that was new, probably he didn’t process it properly when making the mask.
Don post made a combination of claytex. That thing is super fragile. Latex nowadays are much more durable compared back then.
I’d say when the masks were first produced they were quite stretchy and of course thin. Notice how Moran really stretched the mask just before Loomis shoots him. Latex can get hard over time and I believe that is the norm with original Post masks that survive
Sadly for the H78 though it does have a small rip on the right eye, but no rot or cracking yet!
