Viewing Halloween Ends...what route are you taking?

How will you view Halloween Ends?

  • In theaters
  • Streaming on peacock
  • Streaming on HBOMax etc when available
  • Wait for the DVD
  • Wait for cable tv/DISH such as TNT, TBS, FX, etc
  • Not gonna see it
  • Illegally pirate the movie and risk many many many years in jail…but only if I get caught.

Plain and simple. How are you going to view Halloween Ends? No need to add the reason of your decision if you don’t want to. Just curious what my fellow members are doing for the flick.

For me, I bought tickets for opening night Thursday the 13th. Tickets are available for regal theaters right now. Not sure which other theaters have them on sale yet.

H40 for me was pretty eh…
Kills was awful imo.

Not hyped for the final film in this trilogy, but I’m a Halloween movies fan and Michael Myers fan, so let’s see what they got for the finale. I’ve read most spoilers so I feel pretty up to date on what’s what.

I am excited to hear the score. The music has never disappointed, so I’m ready to listen to it in the mega theater sound levels

Btw, this is regarding your initial viewing. I know you can go to the theater AND stream the same day. But which route are you going first?

I’ll watch it in cinemas for one day, only cause it gives me a reason to be in full costume

same

Cinema. I’d never see anything that was in theaters any other way. I have A-list for AMC, so even if it’s terrible (I said IF lol) it’s essentially free, anyway.

I hear that. I’m a Regal member (free membership) and movie ticket purchases with them adds points to my account such as popcorn, snacks, drinks discounts as well as movie ticket discounts.

ive said this before but my friends and I simply just enjoyed the spirit of getting into the season during last years “Kills” release. we had a great time laughing at how silly it was and wearing our get ups. at the end of the day I know the movie is going to be subpar im just going to enjoy the experience!

Both memberships are awesome. Even if you see 2 films in a month you’ve already got your money’s worth. In August I went to see ET in IMAX. Ticket price was like $21. It only cost $24 for the entire month. Some months I see 10+ movies, so it’s perfect for me.

That’s the spirit! You know I struggled with kills until a few weeks ago? Boycotted it in theaters then agonized over having to pay to watch it. When I finally did, sure it was terrible, but I watched it again just for the MM parts then left it on a third time while I was doing stuff in the background and now I don’t even care. It is what it is. Plenty of more important stuff to worry about than a bad movi lol.

I studied film in school and am still a huge cinephile, but with that comes the unfortunate fact that I am often hypercritical of film. though Ive taught myself to just try to find small things to enjoy in bad movies. even if it is just me laughing at things that aren’t really supposed to be funny. I have a good time. though it only really works if I have an interest in the film. I could never watch the new jurassic park but Ends I will gladly watch with a smile on my face.

Definitely opening weekend in the theaters with a big bucket of popcorn!

Buying a year subscription to Peacock for $25, having a family Halloween Ends watch party and then watching it whenever I feel like it after that. I’ll have to watch it in the theater at least once because I’ve seen every Halloween movie in a theater.

I’m going to get a time machine and bring the film back to the year 1955 and watch it on a drive in screen and try and not run into my parents :open_mouth:

I’ll wait for the UHD/Blu-Ray unless I hear good things. I just have a bad feeling it’s going to end like H:20 and I hated how the theater supported that ending. I want a horror movie to be haunting, not to have an uplifting ending.

Got my tickets for Thursday premiere. But my rewatches will be on peacock.

Oops I forgot all about the dvd! I didnt even buy Kills on dvd so it didnt cross my mind to make that an option.

Needs a pirate option

Added it just for you

But then it erased the previous votes! oh well, no biggie obviously :drinkers:

Cinema.

The only way to truly experience a new Halloween movie.

Going to theater for sure but also rewatch on peacock.

Cough cough pirate Bay :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Is there a “with a blindfold” option?
