Vincent Drug Store Masks - *Two Final Additions!*

**_I thought I had completed this project already but a short while back I found two more “must haves” on my journey to recreate the Vincent Drug Store scene where Rachel takes Jamie to get her costume in HALLOWEEN 4.

These two will likely be the last two pieces but…you never know!

First off I have to show you my favorite, a Dracula mask by Travelers!! I don’t know exactly what it is I love about this piece but it SCREAMS vintage and HALLOWEEN in a way few masks can, I absolutely LOVE this mask! My good friend David Lady helped me identify this Dracula mask as a piece by Travelers from the 1970’s.

This is the way the mask looks in Halloween 4 inside of Vincent Drug store (sorry, best pics I could get!):

This Travelers’ Drac mask is hard to find these days BUT for those of you who really want one Ogawa Studio mask company DOES make this mask now. It has molded instead of glued hair and a different paint scheme but the conversion wouldn’t be too difficult to accomplish. Here is the way they look from Ogawa Studio:

The second mask I scored is seen (along with a vampire mask that looks like it may be another BSS DRAC) in the Vincent Drug store scene above Brady and Rachel while they are kissing, just before Rachel tells Brady she has to baby sit. Unfortunately only the lower 2/3 of the mask is ever seen but that is enough to identify this mask as the “Vanilla Gorilla” by Be Something Studios (once again, thanks David for the identification of this mask!):

A huge congratulations, I absolutely love that Drac mask, it just feels 70’s-80’s to me, reminds me of trick or treating as a child.

Ur hardcore man!! I Love that look it takes me back 2 my start looking at Fangoria distortions adds and yes clipping out the paper order slip sending it in and WAITING :astonished: :astonished: Great stuff PS i,m looking for the masks that make up those mag order slips Bloody vampire Moon wolf and others but very rare 2.

DAMN!!! I HAVE THAT DRACULA MASK, HAD IT FOR ABOUT 6 YEARS NOW, TRIED RESEARCHING IT AND EVERYTHING, COULD NEVER FIND ANY INFO. ON IT, ETC…SO I JUST STUCK IT ON A STAND AND PUT IT ON THE SHELF, JUST THOUHT IT LOOKED COOL, GOT IT IN A BOX WITH 8 OTHER MASKS AS SAID YEARS AGO, TIME BROKE DOWN THE PRICE OF EVERYTHING PAID 12.00 FOR MINE…BUT GLAD TO KNOW WHAT IT FINALLY IS AND ITLL GO IN MY CASE WITH MY H4 STUFF!!! GREAT THREAD!!!

Quite a unique idea you had to track down the Vincent Drug Store masks. You should build a mini Vincent Drug Store in a corner of your collection room. :sunglasses:

Also …as for the mask with the fingers coming out of it, if I remember correctly …that wasn’t a mass produced mask !! I think it was made by an individual artist !!

BTW …I still need to find that damn Gorilla to complete my “Jaime Isle” set !!! lol
