wat was your first halloween you ever seen

im just wondering cause not every one saw the the first movie at fisrt i saw halloeen 6 on tv when i was about 7 years old it was scary to me cause i was young but now waching its just funny as hell post your first halloween movie

I first saw Halloween in 1979-80 I think when VHS rercorders first came to Australia.

I saw H1 first, Just not on the big screen as I now would have preferred.

Though I did see Terror Train in the theaters, which I believe was out right at the same time as H2.

Halloween ('78) was the first one I saw and it hooked me in!!

I saw the original HALLOWEEN on tv when I was 8 years old. I was scared & hooked for life!

I saw Halloween (78) in the theaters when it was released. Twice!!! I was 11 and it scared me and everyone else in the audience. It was so fresh and new compared to the offerings of the day. I’ve never experienced audience reaction like that again. :sunglasses:

I can’t remember for the life of me. I just loved horror movies and soaked them all up. I would guess to say Halloween 2 1981. My oldest memories are from the hospital scene. When I was little and watching horror, I didn’t know what was going on and just watched.

I watched the broadcast version of H1 right before H2 came out, I was six and hooked on horror. And terrified. I was convinced Michael was behind the shower curtain every time I went to take a leak…

H1 1978 in the theater at 5 years old :open_mouth: I haven’t been the same since.

Seeing as I was born in 92’, I kinda missed out on most of the good ones, lol. I first saw H2 when I was about 5 or 6, so 97’ or 98’. Then I loved it (when I was little, Halloween and Terminator were my favorite movies), so my Mom bought me H78 on VHS! So, in short, Halloween II.

I rented halloween 6 when i was 8, and i loved it. then i saw 5,4 and h20 later on down the road. i had only seen parts of h1 before that, and my video stores didnt have it!!! but i found a vhs of it at wal mart around halloween time so its easy to say ive been hooked since 8 years old

i first saw Halloween 1 when it was showing on tv (so it had the extended scenes). Must’ve been back in the early '90’s.
AFter that, I caught Halloween II on tv, followed by Halloween 3
Then i rented Halloween 4, 5, 6 on vhs and went to see H20 in the theaters with my sister.
I didn’t even know Halloween Resurrection was coming out until one day i saw a poster for it, but i didn’t get to see it in theaters, so I waited and bought the dvd.
Rob Zombie’s Halloween and H2 i saw in theaters the day they came out.
I don’t know why i remember all of this.

  1. i was 8 years old. my friends mom drppoed us off, but not before buying us tix to the greatest movie of al time.

mike

Well, I was born in 94, so only half the franchise was out after I was born. I saw Halloween 4 and 5 on AMC when I was 8 or 9 and I loved it, so I got hooked. I only saw the 2 remakes in theaters though, so that might be the reason why I love them so much, idk. But I wasn’t aware of the franchise until 2003, a year after H8 came out so I couldn’t go see it in theaters :frowning:

Years ago I remember Halloween two the TV version came on SciFi and since then im a big fan it’s always been my top favorite!

I’m pretty sure it the Universal Pictures Television Debut of Halloween II on a local UHF channel in 1985. I was 10 - the year I saw all the great horror flicks - Psycho, Carrie, Exorcist - and Halloween II stuck out the most - the scene of Myers coming back on fire with that relentless stalking music haunted me for years until I saw it again in 1987 with the first film. Again on TV, both with “extended scenes”. I’ve been hooked ever since!!!

i was on my friends house ,and we played gmod .and we re bored and so he showed me the halloween 1 1978 that was my first halloween. :axe:

1st NBC showing of H1.
Made me wanna go see H2 that year but since it was rated R my dad wouldn’t take me.
So…he went without me!!
Bah!

H1 when I was 8… it started the madness :smiling_imp:

No clue. But I was definately young. I think I actually kept seeing Halloween II on cable several times before I saw the original 78 movie. I’m sure I was younger than 10. To this day I hate visiting hospitals because of that movie. :open_mouth:
