I just picked these up yesterday and the woman had them listed as blue but I’m not seeing it in the pictures. They’re Roebucks but I’m curious to know if they were ever made in the Tex Green? They look too light to be spruce, although they could be faded….but I’m not seeing blue in these pictures especially when compared to her sleeve, haha. So I thought I’d see what you guys think while I wait on them to get here.
they are definitely green, I cant tell exactly roebucks came in a lighter spruce green and the dark grey green aka tex green
if you look at my pics I have a few tex green roebucks. the pair Im weraing in the pic was dead stock it still had the tags never worn.
They are tex green they change from charcoal grey to dark green\
That’s what I was thinking! It’s some thrift store type shop on eBay, and she said blue, but I saw green and then thought about that being a factor in no one knowing for sure what color the h1’s were for so long so I jumped on it. They seem to be affected by the light which has my hopes up for Tex. We shall see when they get here. I appreciate it. Yours are darker but they were old stock so I’m hoping these are just faded. Either way, they’ll either be h2’s or h1’s. A step up from my Redkaps.
yes they are 17mm they are a dead on match, I put them next to my sears they are 100% same size and even the design etched on them
also you need the die-tool to hammer them on flush onto the fabric
