ok so I have these carharts
and I want them to look like the H9 ones as it is way to light brown.
what color should I use to tone it down to a more darker color like in the movie?

Everyone tells me to wash them a couple times and then add some green rit dye to the base coat then you can add some black to do the weathering and such.

I woul’ve never thought of green for it… I was almost sure the tone was blue-ish! shows what i know doesn’t it? LOL
Yeah Scott gave me advice and it worked great, get dark green RIT dye mix it up in your bath tub ( dark green and water ) and soak your coveralls for 10-15 min. WERE GLOVES! stay with them the whole time they soak take them out let them air dry . then weather them, I used an electric soft wheel / electric sander. then i put BLACK RIT dye in a mist bottle and misted black onto the coveralls more in some places and less in other places i did that untill i was happy with them . you might have to go through the dye proses a couple times until your happy with the color, BUT DONT OVER DUE IT WITH THE GREEN!

Yeah just gut the insulation out of them then fill up a bath tub with warm water and mix in a half bottle of the dark green rit dye. Let them soak for 15 minutes a side then remove them and check the color. When the color looks good hang them up to dry. You might need to repeat this process a few times.
