Yeah I’m definitely happy they didn’t go that direction. Cool to see how it would of looked though. Interesting stuff.
I honestly do not think the movie would have been as terrifying or as timeless had they gone with the Emmett Kelly mask over the Kirk mask. The white mask not only matched Carpenter’s vision better, but allows the viewer to impress their own emotions onto it. The films would have been reduced to another schlocky B-movie with a killer clown had they not gone with the Kirk mask.
