Hey everyone! I’m new to the mask collecting hobby and just put my first commission in and it got me wondering…What was the first mask you guys purchased as part of the hobby? (Would love to see pics too!)
2000 DP Chalkface back in 2000. I wish I had pic’s of it from back then…
My first mask was a NM78 returns from a very cool member blackesteyes8696, I’ve sold it since then but I do very much miss it.
Mine was the infamous Sandman edition first run Warlock straight from Terry Lambert 
DPS The Mask from the late ‘90’s. It had the ‘85/86 sculpt I believe. Then, 2017, got back into this hobby and bought the TOTS Hospital Mask.

My first Myers mask was one of these, except it had blue/green lips, I kid you not

Amazing, this was my first as well! Rubies’ “The Mask” I couldn’t afford the Don Post version with hair then when Halloween came around I was too embarrassed to wear it.
First indy mask was the NMM78.
Nightcreeper Studios Killing Machine. It wasn’t amazing, but I wish I still had it. I’d buy another one if someone offered them.

Lmfao. The funny thing is that they had a costume shop near me. I didnt realize how over priced it was when I was a kid. All I ever wanted was a Myers mask. My dad found this at that costume shop. It was all they had. He paid $60 for it. I wore the shit out of it. Lol. A couple years later I got this don post for $40.

Well I have the original Cinema Secrets H8 Myers from like what, 2002? That’s from my Trick or Treating days and it’s actually still in good shape, wore it last Halloween. I also ordered Night Owl’s the Creep last week, so it’ll be a wait for that yet.
I actually like that a lot, it’s simplistic but pulls off the look well. The first Myers Mask I ever bought was that terrible one they sold at Party City in the late 90’s. I just put a deposit on the Revenge of the 5th mask as my first Indy. I’m about to commission a few more because I’ve seen so many that I want lol
