Whats your absolute favorite H1 mask to own? Nothing tops it in your eyes

I like the I.D depending on its finish. Stock Copy I don’t like as much but JC did one and it really brought out the full on potential of the sculpt!

I prefer the stock paint, cause it looks more raw and not overdone, that’s just me though, the big thing is how you photograph the mask as well and lighting

No offense and not to get anyone’s panties in a wad but I see that saying a lot, as if JC “over does them” or the paint is too “stylized” I don’t get that at all, IMO it looks exactly like what the mask would look like, (he finishes them due to the customers orders… if it was ur mask u could request stark white from him…) and the “weathering” is not false painted on shadows, it’s dirt from the streaks n tips… it’s not a painting of a mask, it’s a mask that was painted… I don’t get ppl saying that all… just my 2 cents

I think JC does perfect paint ups, I see people say his work is too stylized and I too scratch my head. In my opinion this is perfection and I don’t know how you could get anymore h1 than this paint up. But everyone sees that original mask a little differently which is okay. I personally don’t think the hero was ever fully stark white. I used too. But I now choose to believe the DP theory over the TLW theory but thats an entirely other topic that I won’t get in to here unless someone decides to chime in on that and ask my thoughts lol

Now I know this mask was based off of the H4 poster which was Dick Warlock inside the mask but for me The Nightowlpro Maniac gives off such a great H1 look! I love those earlier copy with the dyed Mohair, Screams H1 to me!

Right 100% agree, it is ALLLL PERSONAL PREFERENCE… but saying he over does stuff is kind of throwing shade, if u don’t like it, then don’t, but don’t act is if he doesn’t know what he’s doing
