Me personally saw it 1997 when my parents were watching it.
Mom told me to go to sleep so i became more curious what was on TV so i sneak up to see it.
After the Judith scene i was kinda shocked but still i was fascinated by the whole movie, couple of days later i was searching info about the movie and got addicted to it so i’ve rented all the other movies…
First saw the original Halloween when I was 7 at a Halloween sleepover.
After stuffing myself with lots of candy and doing the usual ghost story around 10 of us settled out in the parents outhouse at the back of the garden to watch the movie. I was totally transfixed by the creepiness of the shape and the music really got inside my head, I became an instant fanatic…much to the dislike of my mother
In all seriousness, I must have been around 4 years-old when I first saw it. It was Halloween and my grandmother was over. It was broadcast on TV. I also recall having a ham and mustard sandwich while I was watching it This must have been around 1981. I have watched it every Halloween since. And no, my last name is not Elrod
1978, i was 8 years old, my friends mom was watching us and she asked if we wanted to go see a movie. we said yes, she drove us to the theatre and ask what we would like to see and my buddy said HALLOWEEN. she bought the tickets, walked us to the door and said “see you in a few hours”. i was scared out of my mind. we watched and never said a word to each other. it was an incredible time in my life.
I was 8 years old.
It was late and everyone in the house had gone to bed. For some reason I couldn’t sleep that night so I snuck out of my room and into the living room and switched on the TV (keeping the volume down as low as I could). I was switching through the channels and heard the intro theme to HalloweeN, the theme sucked me in and I never changed the channel.
It was on night I fell in love with the series and was born a great fan of horror.
I saw it when I was about eight years old or so. My dad got it when it first came out on betamax (maybe '79) and we watched it at the house. It was the scariest movie I’d ever seen.
