So, all of the ingredients for my life-size Michael are on their way, I just ordered the mannequin today, the coveralls, latex hands, paint and fake blood are all ordered, still need to order the boots but I can’t do that until I know how big the mannequins feet are.
But, the last piece of the puzzle is still needed, I need a knife for him to hold, if it were up to me I’d have him holding a real butcher knife but I have a cat that likes to climb and pounce on things and I don’t want him hurting himself so sadly I have to find a decent looking fake knife.
I looked around on Amazon and all I found were those cheap looking oversized butcher knives you find in every Halloween costume shop, I want something that looks totally real but is safe. If anyone can point me in the right direction I’d appreciate it.

If memory serves correct JC made some top notch knives, but I could be wrong. I think it was him. I’m not sure if he still makes them though?

Whoa! Those are boss! After assessing the situation I may need to get one that has a plastic rounded tip, the mannequin will be holding the knife down low with the blade pointed at an angle toward the floor and that crazy cat of mine could still poke out an eye on the tip of one of those above.
I did find a fake knife that looks to be the proper size that a butcher knife should be but the blade glows in the dark, I’m thinking of getting that one and painting the blade to look like steel, it should look decent after that.
EDIT: Here’s the knife, like I said once I paint it it should do okay for now…
