I’m not so sure I’m all that thrilled about the Ends mask. After seeing the trailer, it’s basically the Kills mask. The only thing remotely different that I see is maybe the black charring has worn off to a degree. Yes that rhymed lol.
I know this much, I do love different varieties of the mask. The 1978 original is by far and away the best, no questions asked. However I do love the part 2 look and I also actually like the part 4 mask since it has that “Don Post” vibe.
Part 6 is a cool mask, but in its own unique way. I like the look of that one. And the new masks from the new movies are actually pretty good. Maybe the best we have seen since the original Kirk from 78’ and 81’. I still don’t put it up there with the original, but it does capture the essence of that original mask.
I enjoy collecting them, but I’m just not sure I’m seeing anything that drastically different from the Kills mask to the Ends mask to actually want to buy one. We will just have to wait and see.
yea big swing and a miss from a pure advertising stand point in not making a mask discernibly different from kills. the amount of excitement and amount of masks sold due to a new mask variant was a big part of the fun with h40 and kills. I suppose tots could release a flashback mask. better yet the script writers could have done a better job and made a more interesting third installment where Michael goes into a costume shop and finds an og Myers mask harkening back to h4. rehaulers are going to be bored
Honestly, maybe i’m getting my hopes up too high but I’m hoping that they took the opportunity to seal a deal on the flashback mask and release it with the Ends merch.
Also I can see the Ends mask being a great way to please people that didn’t like the yellow-greenish spot paintjob of the Kills mask since the mask is clearly less charred in the trailer
The big deal are probably gonna be the Rob Zombie masks if it turns out to be true, I’ve read on another site while searching yesterday that they had in fact acquired the rights for those.
Not sure when they’ll go up for preorder, but they’ll be shipping late September/ early October.

nick mulpagano making 1200 large on his own ends concept mask was cool to see. cant imagine the officially licensed one will looks much different than that one.

I Heard that soon we will get a full look at Michaels’s new mask, once that comes out I feel that Trick or Treat studios will also Reveal pics of their mask.
As of now the RZ masks are halted I was told. They were actively working on them and then idk what happened but they’ve delayed it. They’ve asked to do the flashback many times and from what I was told Chris Nelson doesn’t want them to release it. Could be wrong on that just going off of what I was told when I asked some people close to the film rights and tots last year.
