I dressed up outside but I don’t have any photos unfortunately. I was not allowed in the theater with the mask so I took pics with people outside but that’s it. Still a lot of fun though!
New York is probably the most strict when it comes to that unfortunate, you aren’t allowed to even wear hoodies or hats that block the camera from seeing your face clearly
My friend is the creative manager at my local Alamo Drafthouse (Northern Virginia) and he had me there Thursday and Friday dressed up to take pics with people and hide in corners and scare people (which went amazingly). I found a few killer spots where no one would see me and I would do “The Shape Slide” and get a scare. They also made a video intro for the film for all theater branches and I would stand in front of the screen before the movie. It was a blast.
Thank you so much! I am very lucky that the Alamo brand allows dressing up and for people to express their love of movies. I did not see anyone else dressed up which I found a little weird. The audiences and theater-goers loved it and I took A LOT of photos with people. It’s been a fun weekend.
Its real awesome of them to do that. I was forced to stay in the parking lot which was still fun but it would have been so much better to be in the theater with the costume.
I dressed up for it! I scared a bunch of people! I didn’t sneak up on them or anything, I just stood there and stared at them like Michael does, while slightly turning my head. XD
I dressed up here at our theatre in Nampa, ID. all the people loved it but they wouldn’t let me in with the mask and knife. Said I had to take it back out to my car. I acted like i did, then stuffed it inside coveralls. Proceeded to wear it in the actual theatre and walked around in front of screen before movie haha. Then of course walking out I said F it and put it back on and took lots of pics with everybody. Guests loved it.
its so sad that its like that now a days. I was really thinking next year dressing up on Halloween and going for a stroll on Halloween night where i live but than the though of someone shooting me came into my head. Sad this is the world we live in now
