After seeing Kills twice I think the flashback scenes where the best part of the movie. Very nostalgic and filmed in a convincing manner. Anyone agree?
Me too, I don’t know how to explain it but the scenery, the music especially when the police stood around Michael, it was just so good. It also really gave a 1978 feeling imo.
I had some issues with the flashback which prevented me from calling it the best part. I still think that belongs to the Shape’s emergence from Laurie’s burning house. Everything about that scene worked for me.
Yes that was a great scene to! A house fire is scary as “Hell” but to see Myers emerging from it? Yeah…That’s down right terrifying!

Agreed, the flash back scene along with the scene of the Shape walking after Karen without his mask on.
I think it shows, especially with that Loomis doppelganger, that it might be possible to do future reboot sequels set in the past. We’ve already got several different timelines, what’s a few more?
Thomas Mann as Young Hawkins was spot on for me. Loomis was great too. One of his lines seemed a little bit off, but still… left me wanting more. Airon Armstrong’s movement just after Young Hawkins Calls out to him was unreal. The scene at the Myers house when he drops McCabe and heads for the front door. It just all seemed to fit. Loved it.

yes it was my fav part of the movie. thats how the 2007 remake should of been.
It would love to see the flak back scenes somehow cut into the end of the original, just to see what it would like.
- Start with Loomis shooting MM and he fails of the balcony
- Continue with the Loomis and Laurie scene, and then Loomis running outside (H2 clip) call the Sheriff.
- Police dispatch on Radio about Myers (new footage)
- Police cars looking for MM, lights flashing, sirens wailing (new footage)
- Young Hawkins seeing MM (flashback we saw)
- The cops coming to Hawkins (flashback we saw)
- See more of Myers threw the alleyways (new footage)
The rest of the flashback we saw - Finish with the cops surrounding Myers outside his his. Loomis in the back ground walking towards him
- Lingerie on Myers, insert heavy breathing, some random clips of the Doyle, house, Wallace house, and back alleyways.

I’m not sure if it was the best part but it was EXCELLENT!!! I also love the park scene. But yeah, everything was pretty much perfect in the flashback. I didn’t even catch that they matched it up to the original crane shot in the original during the first viewing. Absolutely brilliant!
They ran a little long IMO.
