It’s not a tattoo…it’s a mark that appears on it’s own by the same power that keeps michael killing…same way the thorn appeared burned into the hay in the movie. If you watch the alternate endings on the H6 DVD, it explains a little more about the thorn being on his wrist. I don’t want to spoil anything for you, but it’s not a tattoo. Also, someone else manages to get it on his wrist.

This…is where i lose interest and press eject…When magical powers start coming out and that parriot “cookie” pecking a tattoo in his wrist or is just appearing. It tells me the director had limited imagination and now needs hocus pocus to keep this thing rolling.

H1 was so scary because it was so simple, which made it more realistic meaning you sat there and watched it and said …“oh $hit” this can happen. What if mike didnt want a tattoo

someone told me you can see it in H1. It’s probably just a tattoo nick castle had and they based it off that. I’ve always thought thorn would work better if they would explain they didn’t find michael until after HII. I mean, it just does’t make sense that he was always being controlled by the cult. in HI and HII he seemed like a real killer and a real, emotionless, comotose, blank, expressionless, pure evil. Then I noticedi n 4, 5, and 6, he behaved in a very robotic way. meh, got a little too into detail there

In 20 years I have never heard this explanation. That Nick Castle had a tattoo and that is why they used it. Wow
