For me, the RZH1 mask looks so incredibly brutal in the film and Michael/the actor was really huge, this is still impressing, I think.
I recently re-watched H20 and I thought this would have been a perfect ending of the “trilogy” H1, H2 and then H20 with RZH1 as a seperate modern experiment.
I don’t need the new trilogy with old Laurie.
H2, I think, was totally unnecessary and Carpenter didn’t want that to happen, but it only needed to be done because H1 was such a huge success. I have bought it twice: Once the cut version which ends up in the trash bin, because it was boring AND cut and the second time it was the uncut version which is still boring, but you do not miss the few cutted (not really gore-ish) kill scenes.
I learned that this is the SCREAM-like Halloween part and that it actually has the perfect ending for Halloween since H1 & H2 20 years later. And JLC was in her best age, not as old as in the new trilogy. For me, I don’t need this. I most like JLC until H20.
haha, I personally love it because it goes a different route. besides, I like to think all the white horse business is in Michael’s head because he got brain damage when he was shot with the revolver and non of that supernatural bs, you know?
