Where do both of their parents go, wild Halloween parties?
How lame are the babysitters for not taking the kids out too.

It seems like Haddonfield is one of those lame towns where all the kids are done trick-or-treating by nightfall. So maybe they did?
Haddonfield is a strange town. Everybody is off the streets by like 6 on one block, and then has trick or treaters all over the road on the next one.
Cause Lindsey is to busy being a housewife of Beverly Hills!

I’ve always thought this would be a great “wrinkle” to make an awesome movie to bridge the gap between parts 2 and 4. Where do parents with small children go on Halloween night in Haddonfield thats so important?..And why would they? Halloween is the second most anticipated night of the year to a kid. Remember also, the night Judith was killed, the parents were out on Halloween night. Who does that? I dont know, i just think it would make for some excellent fan fiction or what have you, for someone with a much better talent for this sort of thing than myself. Would love a story with flash sequences encompassing the time period from 1961-1981 in the Halloween universe and incorporating a twist with the whole apparent absence of parents on Halloween night based on a secret that was kept the night Michael killed Judith.
Maybe they go to some secret meeting…Eyes Wide Shut style. Could tie in with that cult stuff in H6. 
Mommy and Daddy go away because they aren’t f$@king stupid. Every time Michael Myers is loose the adults all go to Russellville and tie one on until the next day when everything will be more or less safe. Anyone under 21 NOT INVITED. That’s why the trick-or-treaters are so spotty, those are just packs of wild children looting empty houses.
