Aside from H1, H20 is the only other film in the series that I really enjoy and never tire of watching. I thought the first RZ remake was decent (havenât seen the second yet), and the original H2 is alright. I catch the rest every once in a while, always thinking in the back of my mind that maybe this time they will be better; sadly, they never are. Different strokes for different folks I suppose.
I totally agree with you there on that statement
I dont mind H20 its an alright watch but theres a few things that get my back up like the music which sounded like the music to a drama series , i mean theres no tension in it . The speed the movie seemed to me to be dragged out just to show you how streriotypicaly trauma tised laurie is i mean shes an alchoholic she pops pills like there sweets , shes over protective of her son she has repetative nightmares etc etc etc.The mask keeps changing as the film goes on and it seems as if you spend the wole film waiting for the end.
I loved H20! I watch it more often than H78! I LOVE the score of H20! I wish I had the time and patience to dub in the H20 into H78!
i will say this- i am so glad they threw the thorned curse out the window. i like to think there is no reasoning behind Michaelâs monstrosity
I liked H20 and understand why they chose to simplify the storyline by ignoring 4-6, even though I like these films too. Really if you think about it they ignore Halloween 2 and just go with H1 to H20.
As far as H6, the thorn plot wasnât terrible but I think it was more of the execution. If you read the Halloween novel by Curtis Richards, it hints at the idea of a curse being the reason Myers does what he does.
Above all, I could sit through every film time after time, including H3, yet RZ H2 makes me want to rip my hair out!
H20 is better off by ignoring H4-H6. Iâm a fan of H4, but ignoring those three films was a necessary evil in order to get back to a simpler storyline. There was no sense in cluttering up a film that is supposed to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the original by having to shoehorn in explanations for H4-H6.
Wow, a really old thread that got bumpedâŚwhat is up with that lately?
I changed the title to H20! Itâs called H2BLOWS!
Because weâve run out of things to talk about and the Forum is moving SLOOOOOWWW! Gotta do something!
GreatâŚnow start doing âWhat ifâ or âShould Laure have had sexâ topic threads and we can turn into the Halloween Message Board.
Goinâ right for the nuts
âŚthe mere mention of OHMB⌠cringes
No comment.
Iâm a big H20 fan. 3rd best flick IMO next to the first two.
Hereâs a cool comparison pic I just put together.
I love H20, I have to agree, I also like the Creed Sound track and video.
LL Cool J is ok throughout and the kills are well done. I never realised that only 3 of Michaels 6 kills actually take place on screen as suggested in earlier posts⌠Very cool observation.
Could anyone tell me different scenes in the movie where two different masks were used? I have never actually noticed much of a difference if Im honest and would like to rewatch and compare.
Always love learning something new about our beloved franchiseâŚ
Hey, every days a school day so they say!! :finga:

AGREED!!! As if Michael would have time to burn a perfect Thorn symbol on a stack of hay bails anyways.
