He tricks them, then treats them good…
Check this article guys.
He makes a sort of psychological profile of myers and I think he is right. But everyone can have a different opinion.
And as for when he kills, for example Bob, he stands there tilting his head observing, thinking simply “hmm… interesting”
Or when he’s playing around with Linda, he’s thinking “oh yeah she’s going to think I’m her boyfriend if I do this, and just wait til she sees who’s under here when the sheet comes off!!”
Then Linda gets up to use the phone and he’s thinking “bitch you were supposed to stay in bed so I could pull my trick, but you just had to get up and use the phone so your dead, ruin my damn trick bitch!!” He takes his tricks seriously lol.
As for Laurie, well, she came to his house and he sees her thinking “oh man I could scare her real good, and what’s she doing at my house??” Making her extra special since she knows his house. Simple as that? In my mind it is
Uh yeah, I think I pretty much just said the same with what I just wrote, but not under the guise of autism. Wasn’t even thinking in those terms! But what he wrote is spot on with how I feel Myers operates! Very interesting
Same for me.
I’ve always seen the myers character as a 6 year old child in an adult body.
I don’t know if he is driven by an unknown inner force or if he is just doing this with no motive except the fact that he needs to do same things over and over again…
Well man, what you say here is really interesting and I love the image of the astronaut’s helmet.
Never occurred to me how easy Laurie stops him from choking her just by pulling his mask off.
I’m going to think about it all day long now!
He needs the mask to set him off.
100%
If you wanna go by the new movie, Michael does have some attachment to it. It sort of set him off.
Honestly, I think the mask is a direct correlation to what Loomis says in H1. I met this six-year-old child with this blank, pale, emotionless face, and the blackest eyes the Devil’s eyes. Michaels mask is exactly what his face is, he just chooses to cover it.
Carpenter mentions in some interview that he suggested something white and faceless like the film Eyes Without A Face.
So obviously when they brought the masks back to choose from it was an easy choice.
What about a vintage hockey mask like Jason? Does anyone think the hockey mask Jason wears is emotionless? I think it’s emotionless but gives off a very menacing vibe. Like even if we didn’t know of Jason or the history of that hockey mask, I think we would still view it as something that isn’t friendly or of good nature
