Was wondering if we will find anything out about Michael’s parents in this original timeline. What happened with them after the events of 1978 and in the years up until 2018? Did they visit Michael in Smith’s grove in 40 years? Would be interesting if the new films give us any info on his parents and their relationship with Michael.

According to one timeline, Cynthia Myers (Laurie Strode) was born 2 years before Michael killed Judith in 1963. After this, Edith (Michael’s mother) became severely depressed, and Donald (father) became an alcoholic. They both died in a car crash in 1965. It seems like just being around Michael at any time means you’re going to die. For Cynthia’s protection, they said she died in the crash and adopted her into the Strode family.
Once, Edith secretly took Cynthia to Smith’s Grove to see her brother. She told Cynthia not to bring it up in front of the father, as they were keeping it a secret, but Cynthia slipped up and said his name. Donald then beat his daughter. Sad shit. But that’s just the one timeline we have of them
Interesting that the father’s name is Donald. Anyway, as far as I remember, more about his parents is written in the novel by Curtis Richards. I recommend you read it.
