Legion Safety orders - shipping update
There was an incident during the production of the first batch (2 units only) which called for extra stage-to-stage inspection during the process of the coveralls going through the production. Since it is a new-to-them product, they messed up and had V2 made with some of the previously-corrected elements of the V1. It was caught before shipping it to the customer but in light of that, all pending orders were temporarily put “on ice” till this first batch got straightened out and now each stage of the production is closely monitored to make sure all is done correctly, hence the reason for the extended dates. Once they have more people trained on that, it will go back to their regular production lead time.
At the moment, the factory moved the expected date as follows:
orders placed 1/14/22 - 1/21/22 - current availability date 2/17/22
orders placed 1/22/22 - 2/4/22 - current availability date 2/25/22
orders placed 2/5/22 - 2/10/22 - current availability date 3/3/22
spoke to the factory earlier today - they’re expecting to have the first batch (the bigger one) out by Wednesday 2/23/22 … I’ll update the rest of the dates as soon as I get fresh info.
Legion received a question recently regarding the coveralls’ color options. As it is, they come in Charcoal Grey by default but as an added option could be also made on-demand out of Navy and Black (black would be roughly 15% more due to the cost differences of the fabric) Ultrasoft of the same 9 Oz weight. Please contact Legion Safety directly if there is any interest.
I’ve offered these first to user indianaslasher so if he does not want them they are up for grabs theyre Workrite coveralls Kills style for 200 shipped.
Just got my V2s and damn are they awesome! Weathered them up a bit and I’ll throw them in the wash tomorrow to soften them up but they look great so far
Out of curiosity, do I need to change the coveralls at all for screen accuracy? I.e removing buttons, elastic band, etc. Or is it good to go out of the box? Thanks.
It’s really personal preference. If you want them to look more screen accurate you could definitely do some weathering. I know there’s a few posts on the site outlining what alterations to make. I removed the male and female buttons from the sleeves and I let the waist out a little bit. In the movie there’s definitely some elasticity in the waist though so I did it really just so it would look better on my frame lol I also used reference photos from James Jude Courtney’s dressing room in 2018 on where to weather them and how much etc. it’s really personal preference though.
Well everyone I finally got around to doing a video on my new version 2’s Alex sent me. I did a straight up comparison video between a brand new pair of regular OG Workrites and the brand new version 2’s side-by-side if anyone is interested. Happy Saturday [emoji316][emoji380]
