I got lucky and was able to find a navy blue pair on Ebay for only $30. They’re a lot darker than the charcoal ones but it’s the best I’ll probably ever get. So I would just keep checking Ebay. It could be months before anything pops up but every once in awhile someone will try and sell a pair.
Correct and it was a pain in the ass to explain to them they sent me the wrong coveralls and to get a refund. Their argument was Bulwarks are made by Workrite and they are in navy blue so we gave you what you ordered.
i’m also scouring for a pair. I have the one i use for my h40, but I’m looking for another pair for my kills costume. i think the best bet is to just keep checking ebay or buy through a fan.
at this point, i might just end up turning my h18 coveralls to kills coveralls. Really wish i bought more than one pair when i did, lmao.
I gave in and sold 1 pair of my 50L’s to help offset a new darkride P2V2 Freddy mask.
But I’m making my Kills out of my new 46L (my H40 is 48L) and I’ll save my other new 50L for Ends I guess.
Crazy we all should have bought a few. I wish I had more 46/48 the 50’s are a bit big on me.
Thats a pretty good idea! I’d have to find a really good one though, because i am waaaaay too paranoid to hand them over to someone else on the off chance they do mess them up, lmao.
You can make the templayes yourself, all you need is a tracing wheel, you run it through some paper laid out on top of the coveralls then draw it out, it won’t ruin your coveralls, and you play connect the dots
I’ll have to look into this, thanks! Is there any kind of fabric you’d recommend? I’d like to get the texture and color as close to the charcoal workrites as possible.
You should be able to find a decent Charcoal grey shade, take your originals with you for a match, cause pictures never do it justice, a heavy drill fabric will work perfectly cause that’s what you want for practically
You may also be able to get a 7.5 ounce pair I have seen a few of those here and there. They basically look the same just obviously not as heavy of fabric. Who knows though maybe they are discontinued as well but I’ve seen them around here and there and they are close too.
Well guys I spoke with my contact Alex over at Legion Safety regarding the workrites coveralls and such.
He gave me some interesting info. Sounds like they have a manufacturer that can replicate the charcoal grey workrites and if they are as good as he is saying they might be a real viable option for some folks that just can’t find real workrites anymore.
Here is the info:
“Interestingly enough, due to continuous interest in those particular coveralls in that particular color (thanks to the Halloween franchise), we have found another manufacturer who would be capable of making a version of the matching coveralls. The biggest difference would be in the location (or rather abscense) of the original safety-related tags on the garment. They’re still made out of the same material and would be tagged with appropriate FR tags, but not the original way Workrite did it.
Model #: 605-USCGY-MM, the current pricing is $97.25 for sizes up to 50-Regular. Larger/Tall sizes pricing is a bit different. Lead time: 2-4 weeks to ship plus the transit.
Let me know if you have any questions … I’ll be happy to help
Wow! I called and Alex was on lunch, but another employee knew pretty much all the ins and outs and gave me a run down on the process and plan of action. This sounds really exciting. Really appreciate you (Matt) and whoever else got the ball rolling on this project.
He said he’d be sending photos today of the material comparison. Really excited to see how this develops.
You’re very welcome man! I actually reached out to him. I have been dealing with Alex off and on for a couple of years at Legion regarding those coveralls but I figured I would try him again and see if they had alternatives because last time we spoke he was saying holy crap are these things ever popular lol he was telling me mad everybody is calling about them because they’re the same coveralls apparently Michael Myers uses in the Halloween franchise? Lol it was funny but anyway yeah hopefully they look great because it certainly sounds like a viable option and quite promising.
Fantastic! I just turned my original pair into a “Kills” version so I’m definitely gonna need a new pair to work as a 2018. This is great news for sure!
