I have a bigger problem with Godzilla(s)
They’ve been making Godzilla movies since 1954 so there’s lots of ‘versions’ of him to get,… lots of movies, (over 30 films)
Don’t be ashamed, I’m starting to get addicted as well
I had a huge burst of collecting and within 6 months just became no longer interested 
In that time I bought a NAG 75K Castle SE (Sold it) Nightowl Creep (Sold it) Warlock (Sold it) a Sinister Studios Obsession(trying to sell it) FFS SPECTRE (Waiting on it to arrive and Im gonna sell it) along with a few Friday the 13th hocks Im gonna sell as well. It was weird. I was widly obsessed with it for a few months then…it just died
Yeah honestly tangible items come and go with our emotions. Definitely an addictive aspect to this hobby for sure

I totally feel this. I’ve struggled with the “why” for so long. At some point, you just have to accept ‘this is who I am and this is what I’m about.’ Maybe take a break, put interest in some other hobbies, then come back with a healthier disposition?
Yeah I can relate. I am full blown addicted and it’s only been 6 months for me…
And that’s just what’s in the case, I have 6 tots masks stored away and have 5 more masks on order or on the way [emoji28][emoji28]

I started mid January with 1 mask. I now have 14, 4 figures, 12 shirts with 3 hoodies and a 3 piece canvas wall art piece on its way, both evolition of evil and the night he came home sets new in box in the mail, a full sized Myers mannequin, and 4 Neca products on preorder and the 78 tots on preorder all within less than a 2 month span. The credit cards have been busy lol

I’m not a collector but love the movies which is why I visit this site. But I really enjoy seeing the collections that ya’ll have. I do wonder though what people say when they come over to your homes and see masks of killers on display in your living rooms/office. Are they like, “I think I left something in my car. BRB.” Or do they like them or do you prepare them ahead of time? I think they are awesome but I’m curious how non-horror people respond.
I’ve got (7? 8?) Shins, so he’s a favorite, that’s the poster in my office too… the SHM Shin is a great figure, but I’ve got the Bandai vinyls and the Neca too, plus the Sega Statue.
(look to the left and you can see the Kirk I molded this past weekend. I’m hoping to get the first pull out of the new mold this coming weekend! Been a very long project that started in September.)
It’s hard to pick an all time favorite Godzilla. I like the original 1954 and a couple of the Showa era suits. I like the 2000 (big purple spines), and the 2001 (GMK with the white demonic eyes),… I like ‘Burning Godzilla’,…the 2014 design is good but I think the new 2019 design is way better. Bigger feet and back spines make a huge difference in making him look more like Godzilla.
I guess I like them all, probably why I have a hard time with collecting Godzilla stuff. I have all these figures, plus a bunch of T-shirts, like 8 full size framed movie posters all over the house. He’s definitely my favorite Monster.
