If the answer is “Yes”, this thread might be intresting as I’ll explain how to get a “screen accurate” H2 Syringe… at least from my point of view. I got 2 syringes as you might have seen earlier this week… I’ve bought them separately. One was older and had a nice vintage feeling about it and that’s mainly why I’ve bought it. The second one, is to me more accurate. I’ll explain how to get a syringe exaclty as my second one.
First, I’ll write the price you’ll have to pay: about $20
So, now I’ll post some close shots of my syringe. Which is the exact one you’ll get if you follow my advices.
I can post more on demand. If you want more details, just tell me in this thread.
So what you have to do is contact TRD Corp. (The Ring Depot & Dixie Sales Corp).
Here’s their email address: sales@theringdepot.com
You need to ask about :
20cc Glass Syringe
23 2 luerslip Needles
The cost is 9.99 for the 20cc syringe and 9.99 for the needles. I need to say that you will received 12 needles in a nice vintage package. These needles are the longest they have in stock. So for 20 bucks you’ll have an amazing H2 Syringe. I’ve paid about 8 bucks of shipping and I’m located in Canada, so US shipping would be way less than that…
I’ve email the guy to ask if he had more of these syringes and needles. He told me that he had more. He didn’t tell me the quantity, but I do think he had many many of them. Since he know about my order a lot as we exchange many emails during the process (concerning needles and syringe accuracy to my needs) you can say in the email that you want the same set as “David Tucker (email: davidt2003@msn.com)” (which is me). The guy shipped right away and I’ve received it in 5 days.
I think that if you have an H2 mask, you NEED to have a syringe to complete your set. I decided to provide this information to help any one that might want an H2 Syringe as I’ve received many PMs about mine…
Here’s a picture of the notorious H2 scene involving the syringe.
Here’s mine in the same kind of position.
Thanks for viewing and don’t hesitate to ask anything here on through PM.
Thanks for the comments. I really really appreciate them. I’m really happy to share this with the community and if it can help some of you I’m even happier.
That’s an awesome looking display you have there !
Thanks for the info !
Just a quick question…Is there more than one type of syringe depicted in the movie ?
I have not watched H2 in a while and, to be honest, did not pay much attention to the syringe
In the first movie photo you posted ( where it appears that Mike is drawing the air into the syringe by backing the plunger out with his thumb ), it looks as though the plunger is the plastic variety with the “X” shaped cross section similar to this one…
Do later shots of the syringe show a different, all glass version ? ( I need to watch H2 more often ! )
Just curious is all ! The glass version that you have come across has a much more vintage vibe to it and I certainly think it looks much cooler than anything made of plastic ! Will be picking one up for myself !
Thanks again !
I’m pretty sure the syringe in H2 was glass… The screenshot is not hi-res so its more difficult to see… I don’t know if someone else can vouch for my theory, but I see a kind of glass blur in the plunger that plastic does not have.
Thanks for the comment and the intrest. Hope someone else will tell its made of glass…
