Hey guys, some of you know that I wanted a H6 mask, but as a beginner I don’t wanted to pay 400 Dollars. So I decided to buy the cheapest and repaint it. Well guys this is my first ever repaint and I know the lips and eyebrows are not that good but what do you think?:

I think it’s a big improvement. You have the undertones int he crevaces of the mask, and the more white scheme on top looks good.
Just for any sort of reference Brad Hardin (who painted many of the production masks for the film, and the actual screen used masks) paints his reproductions first with a layer of black, then a layer of blue (I think a french blue-grey or confederate blu-gray sort of color, could be wrong), then a creme white/off white on top of that. The eyebrows being a gray color, the lips being the gray-blue color diluted with a layer or so of the off/creme white. I think that’s the color scheme used for the screen used masks (Hardin did paint even the SSN H6 masks he did way back in the day with the same color scheme as well).

I think it looks great! The face looks a little bloated, I’d love to see it stuffed!
