That’s because he knows this entire community would drop him like the sack of soggy potatoes he’s acting like. Nik, Handiboy, Father Phantom, they’re all way too big in this hobby for Chris to go after. Same with Ken, who has produced some of the most desirable masks in this hobby to date. Terry, you better believe would be gone by now if it was up to Chris. A lot, and I mean a lot of bad blood there. But, he’s made a big come back too, and now he’s just as popular now as he was back in his hayday.
I wouldn’t say they’re licensed. Ken’s just too big, and too close of a friend for Chris to go after.
They’re buddies from way back. I wouldn’t doubt it.
I’ve heard some rumors here and there, but dismissed it as misconstrued rumors and dissatisfied customers. I’m mostly a Myers collector, like a lot of others here and despite being on the RPF I’m not really into the Gremlin movies. I had no idea Chris had gotten such an ego. I remember the days when we posted side by side with each other.
So, is this mask for sure 24"? I want one but it would have to be 24.
TOTS reported my ebay listing and i have a whole other thread with my version of this mask. I had a lot of respect for them before they tried burying me and other indie mask makers. But at the same time its understandable because the film is still fresh, so maybe when the smoke clears I can have it up again.
They said something about a second mask and prop that won’t be released until the day of the movie so as not to give away spoilers. I wonder does something happen to the mask to change it in the movie or could they be making a H1 mask as they plan on showing him after been shot (as they did reshoots recently)

Looks good for sure but if you look around the nostrils theres supposed to be subtle shading (from what we saw on the tots website) but here on the video looks like its not subtle or maybe its just my eyes playing tricks on me. but it looks awesome, maybe just do a repaint is all, hair looks acceptable.
It really does look good just the hair that worries me. 
Honestly the paint looks too much like the H6 mask to me. Too yellow. But remember everyone, its the mold that matters. With a repaint and rehair, youll have yourself a great replica
Who would you recommend do to the rehair and repaint? Probably wont be able to have that done on time before october 31st im guessing. I love handiboys work on the tots mask but still on the fence as i have seen other peoples work as well. Is 200$ reasonable for a rehair and repaint you think?
I’ll probably just do a bit of light drybrushing to blend the colors better, and be good to go.
just wish they offered a collectors edition or something, 100$ but the hair would be a tad better and the paintjob as well, much like cinema secrets did back in the days with their resurrection masks. oh well, cant have everything. the sculpt though looks exactly like the official pictures and the footage from the trailer. i think a 150-200$ investment to have it rehaired and repainted to be screen accurate would be the best way to go, you would then basically have a mask thats as close to the ‘‘hero’’ as you can get.
This is a good picture that shows the actual paintjob and how the hair has been styled for the actual movie. Would be a good pic to send to artists for when it comes time for the rehaul

Yeah for sure, theres also some light redish hues around the hole and the left eye since he had wounds there inflicted by laurie in the original. Im liking the tots mask just wish they would release a picture of their actual mask with tags in hd next to the hero mask used in the film. I just think that the paintjob and is far too intricate and complex with a lot of hues and fades for a mass produced mask to replicate faithfully. The sculpt seems awesome just needs an artist to take the time on the paint and rehair it properly thats all so im positive all around.
I was preparing for Halloween and looking for one and it seems very much good quality and details are also clear will definitely buy this.
