never thought that the 75k was all that special, but with the right styling with the hair and a solid rehaul, they can look really nice. the eye cuts have always bothered me though! fortunately, it isn’t all too expensive of a mask so there is room for a good rehaul. the creep is not a super detailed mask and it’s totally hit or miss, but with how you have the masks propped up here and with the lighting I prefer it to the nag, though I wish it had some character. it looks so plain. the right side eye cut is perfect though.
While I don’t think I’m particularly the best judge, having bought a 2018 Creep off a third party, unrehauled, I have to say that… To be honest… I think the Creep on the whole looks better than the 75K. It looks more like a proper mask you’d pick up at the store over a work of art.
Pictures I’ve taken in costume seem to prove that decent Creeps are really, really good masks that are both art and functional. For as much as NAG costs for a latex mask… I can’t in good conscience say that any year is better than the later Creeps.
The only thing I wish was better on Myers masks? The hairing… It’s too… Smoothly consistent in one direction. A trait of the Hero mask and Stunt Masks was that they had a sort of “fuzziness” to them. Without fussing with the hair too much, that “fuzzy” inconsistency is never there.
