75' Kirk Roll Call: 2026 Edition

I have that one at spot number 1. I do believe it’s the “first” Kirk but I’m not 100% certain.

Also, I think it’s kinda dumb we can’t indefinitely edit stuff cuz I’m always having to add new masks. I might just have to figure out a blog or something to put all this in.

“Party Kirk”

“Kid Myers” Kirk

My question is, has the master been molded and if not, then why? fear of damage?

The cast that many call “the master” is to small to be a true Master, but a silicone mold can and has been made from it with no problem. After that the recast would need to be enlarged then molded for production castings. This would create a wearable mask.

are there any known castings that have been made from it?

Yes… The Kirk mask from Halloween-mask.com derives from this master.

Must not be a very good cast lol.

Its an enlarged recast of the Blank so essentially, it’s very similar to the old SSN Sandman series which was done using that same process. If nothing besides the enlargement was done to it the pull would still retain a lot of information in the sculpt without all the retooling and details added back in like other masks available. It will however be washed out and slightly distorted.

Yes, before Colby obtained the Kirk master, the owners of halloween-mask.com made a mold and produced a few copies.

I wonder why nobody ever 3D scanned it. If it were me, I’d just make it say 10% bigger digitally and then have it printed on a high resolution resin printer. Then, make a plaster cast from that and take pulls from it. It’d retain perfect detail without being stretched out or bloated and would just be a bit bigger. The Kirks were something like 24” in size, right?

You should make a new thread about it maybe? Let’s stay on topic and lets see those Kirks guys!

I’ve included pretty much all of them. I would edit the top post if I could but the forum is dumb and doesnt work that way LOL

LOL. Understood.

EDIT: Works for me. Maybe it’s just for authors? It’s the “three dots” or the “pencil” button if that helps any. Good luck!

Yeah, it just goes away after a day or two of the post’s creation. You can only edit stuff temporarily.
