The thread was taken down because of the drama. The OP gave the runaround about his uncle giving him a 75 kirk, but no pics to prove it. People started not to believe him. Then he got mad and said he is deleting his account here. Im sure this thread will get locked too, but I hope that answers your question.

Yeah he convinietly got mad n deleted his account before he could post pics & claimed reason for not posting pics was no camera! But then said his aunt was a photagrafer… Then already knew who was stuffing the mask & when it was being done even though he didn’t find out it was a 75 till late on Saturday & magically alredy had 5 buyers! And not one from this net! Who the he’ll else would really want it? So to all who are upset for people making him mad & not posting his pics- chill out cuz I don’t think there was a mask tobpost pics of… He’s just being a kid- we all were once, it’s ok!

I have to admit that I did believe him at first, but everything started sounding a little fishy at the end. He said he was having his account deleted but it’s still here. Based on what I’ve seen from dozens of other members that “leave”, I’d say he’ll be back posting within a week or less, hopefully with some new pictures. 
I actually hoped he had really found a 75 Kirk. Just seemed like he was stalling to keep the thread going. Then Boom he cancels his account.

i think people should stop crowding him. id hate to see his inbox at the present time. i know its the “holy grail” but come come on. the kid says he does not have a camera, and people find that hard to beleive.lol. how about a few here step away from the keyboard, put halloween 1 in the blu-ray and just chill out. it’s not like you will ever see the mask in person.
When you post a thread on Michael-Myers.net about being the proud new owner of a 75 Kirk then you’re going to get a little crowding. After you’ve been around here for a while you’ll definitely see more of the mania that a thread like that starts on this site. If I ever find anything even remotely close to a mint 75 Kirk, you won’t hear a word from me until it’s in my possession and the pictures are ready to be uploaded. If you make a statement like that without pics in hand get ready for some grief. I’m not saying it’s right, but that’s just the way it is. 
Thats exactly the point I was trying to make in the other thread. Obviously he didnt like what we had to say. its a fact, it all sounded like he was trying to buy some more time to come up with another story. He said hell confirm and have pics saturday, saturday comes no pics just a lousy confirmation claiming it was a 75 kirk in “mint” condition.
Then he said he would post pics sunday, sunday comes no pics, then he says he “sent” out the mask to get foam filled by a local mask maker…and that he had 5 interested buyers all of a sudden. Im sorry but I would never have something so rare as a so called “mint” kirk foam filled yet alone “sending” it anywhere to someone else. And now all of a sudden he didnt have a digital camera yet he claimed to post pics sunday? Now you add it all up, like Sandman78 said, 2+2=4. I even posted a few days ago listing how this thread would end A)well see pics B) we wont see pics and hell make an excuse for the delay C)well never hear from him again or hell dissapear. Ive seen way too many threads like these with ridiculous claims but no pictures. Im not saying all teens are immature but when your 17 like him, some people will do anything for attention. But whatever, Im moving on…
If he did in fact have the Kirk he should have waited until he actually had pictorial evidence of it to even say he had found one. Could have avoided all the BS that way, if he was smart and if he had it to begin with. Honestly who cares now? He caved like a child and stormed off pouting.

Maybe he is telling the truth, maybe not…I really don’t think that is the issue. Granted, some people did get out of hand with their comments. That said, pretty much anyone who had a view that was anything but “good luck, post pics, woooo!!” was roasted over the spit. Now it does look like (and I could be wrong) that the whole thing was a big ruse.
Think about it - if you actually DID have a '75 Kirk and wanted to sell (I would sell too btw, that money goes a long way toward a college fund), you would not turn your back on the community that would house 99% of those interested to buy. You would post pics so that the doubters would eat their words. I don’t want to hear “I don’t have a camera” either. If the sale of a HUGE ticket item was on the line, you would find SOMEONE with the means to post a picture to get tha ball rolling.
If pictures of the Kirk are somehow unearthed and posted by the guy, all apologies. It just looks to me like this whole thing was a plot to get attention and stir things up. Successful by the way…
Ether way, if he had it or not alot of guys went way out of line and need to grow up! If some of you people were my kids I would stick you in the corner during play time!

I hate it ended this way, but my grandpa said he had a kirk he bought when he was a young guy and its in his attic.(just teasing I had to do it.) I really took up for the kid and wished him well regardless of the outcome.I just didn’t have a good feeling after a while about him really having it.
Why? For calling his bluff…? I don’t think so. if he really had a 75 Kirk I believe he would be posting pictures just to make everyone look bad. I know that I would. So no pity party from me. The guy was obviously just playing games with everyone, it doesn’t take a genius to figure that out. He didn’t like it much when everyone started pressuring him to prove himself, so he conveniently vanished. Yeah Jon, some of the comments were rude…wonder why? Oh yeah, folks don’t take kindly to being hood-winked. The comments didn’t start getting rude until it became pretty apparent that the guy was just making the whole thing up. Please don’t anyone out there be naive enough to think anything otherwise. Unless he pops up like a Jack in the Box with a Kirk75 in his hands, I don’t believe a word he said. I think that’s probably the general consensus at this point. That’s all I have to say about that.

i PM’ed him twice with no replies.
i tried to open up a discussion, with some offers, and nothing.
i question why you would foam a mask before you sell it?
find a buyer, then let them decide how to preserve the mask.
in my opinion, he may have thought he had a 75, but when they opened the box, it was something else.
maybe his dad had his dates wrong, maybe it was just a DP myers.
hopefully he makes a post and clears all this up.

That might have been the case except for he fact that he wrote in huge letters IT IS A 75 KIRK or something to that extent. That’s when things started going down hill for the poor guy.
This does not sound right.If you made him an offer and he did not respond there is no way he had one.Like you said he might of thought it was a 75 then found out different who knows…I know if someone made me an offer I would have to respond at least.
John - I agree some comments were pretty brutal, but it’s a bit much when people start swinging daggers at any point of view other than their own. I don’t know what is worse, the fact that some people step over the line, or the fact that the defenders jump to crush anyone with an opposing view, no matter how well communicated. This point is not directed at you btw.
Myersh20 - You don’t REALLY think there was any merit to his claim do you? Do you really think he has a Kirk but he’s going to sit on it because some comments made him upset? You think he would risk losing out on $5-10k (members here would potentially make the best offers) because his feelings were hurt? We won’t see pics because there ARE NO PICS.
