ADDISON MORARRE *DOING ME WRONG AGAIN!* (New 1 Coming Soon)

well I have a similar issue.gonna try to make this short.addison recieved my payment from paypal on the 4th of october.i messaged him many times after that for confirmation.14th of october came.he messaged me on facebook with confirmation.recieved mask on 15th of october.the mask i recieved was promised that it looked exactly like the one posted on his facebook and ebay.the color of the revision mask was completely different from his pics.i messaged him the same day.got a reply within a few minutes from him.which i was shocked.he apologized and offered to do a touch up.i sent it back he recieved it on the 19th of october.And of course he disappears again.i messaged him on facebook,email,and this site.finally on the 26th he replied saying he been busy and i get it before halloween.october 31st came around i waited all day.no mask.halloween 2012 ruined.got my coverall weathered and prop knife ready for this years halloween for nothing.i asked for a refund.he says no no refunds.dannyw953 got his mask around the 30th of october and he lives in UK.i live in boston.LOL.how can someone that lives in the UK get their mask before me.i am not trying to ruin peoples reputation.but i am a paying customer and i have rights.talked to addison yesterday november 1st.he said my mask is boxed and shipped.if your reading this addison please leave me a tracking number.i probably wont even see this mask until end of november LOL.

I’ve had a lot of myers masks on my shelf for customers, and the one that came back from YOU was RUINED. I had a shipment of tons of masks to get out and cant always remember who’s who based on usernames. When youre dealing with customers from a message board, personal website, and 3 different facebook pages, its easy to confuse. I was going to ship a mask to you and realized it had been purchased by another guy already, so I couldnt send you a mask that was made for someone else. I know you’re a kid, but when you send a mask back to someone, you HAVE to stuff it. latex will get ruined. the wad of bags was under the mask which was empty and wrapped in other bags. Because of your poor handling, the mask is ruined and I could not send it back to you in time. When I have tons of customers paying 2,3,500$, their masks are naturally top priority over someone who sends a mask back for a repaint and fails to take care of it. Just so everyone knows, this is how the mask looked when it arrived:

Naturally, I cant do much with this mask. Your poor care means you have to understand why I could not RUSH you a mask back. I couldnt repaint the mask for you, I had to make a whole new one.

As for Threat’s allegations, I am not a liar whatsoever.It’s sad that someone will try so desperately to bring someone down. Someone who depends on this for a living. Threat or Bret Newton, managed to talk me down on the price of the proto. Before sending I realized there were a lot of small holes that needed repair on the mask, and considering our past, i was not going to send Bret anything he could complain about. Now, this took a while considering that Ive had tons of orders for other people as well. I was honest the whole time with him, but he did not accept the truth. I even gave him a free $200 full head latex Kemper, but he is STILL trying to bring me down.

If you have that much of an issue with me, dont do business with me. Quality is my top concern, and i will NOT send something out if I feel it is less than perfect. Unfortunately this has led to problems, but I am hoping it will not escalate from here.
I am one person doing a lot of work, expected to do so in a small window of time. Why would I deliberately lie and throw this away after working so hard to get accepted back? this is my full income, my life really does depend on it.

first of all I am 27 years of age.I don’t think thats considered me a kid.So dont go assuming.second of all YOU as a SELLER/MASK maker or what ever you want to call yourself NEED to tell your customers on how to return items properly.I have never own a mask of any kind.its your duty to tell your customers that.All you said in the email you sent me was to send it back.you did not mention anything about stuffing it.Dont go making excuses for yourself when you got my orders mixed up.I dont see many other people on here that buys mask from other makers and have these kinds of problems.YOU LACK COMMUNICATION to many people here.And from the sound of it your not very organized if your getting your customers mixed up.You say this is your income and life.you would think to be more organized.And you said there are people that is paying 2,3,500 dollars and they are a higher priority.THEN LET THE ONES THAT ARE NOT AS HIGH PRIORITY KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON.YOU GO WEEKS WITHOUT ANSWERING PEOPLE EMAILS AND MESSAGES.I am not the only person that has this problem.if it was only me then its a isolated incident.I have talked to 2 or 3 people on this forum that says they havent heard from you in over a week.Does not take long to open up emails and properly respond to paying customer.YOU HAVE THEIR MONEY YOU NEED TO BE RESPONSIBLE.

Welcome aboard.

MMFX doesn’t make masks anymore. You would have to find someone selling one on ebay or on here to get one of those.

Your best bet is to get one from Addison Morarre who makes the Tommy 3, among other Leatherface masks. He has numerous new threads in this section as he’s been pounding out some new cool work, so they should be easy to find.

You basically sent me an additional mask to shut me up, but that doesnt excuse your poor service, for the second time with me, and numerous times with others. Even another mod here said he had tho threaten you, but they wont say anything because when they get the mask I guess they think it’s worth it? So by you sending another mask thinking I wont say anything was bad thinking on your part. I speak my mind and I’m an honest person. You should try that some time :wink:

It really sucks man because like I said above, you do great work, you’re just terrible at the business. And you wont just say sorry and end it, you keep going on with lies and excuses, then make it worse by saying you never lie.

First of all, I bought the PROTOTYPE, you idiot. I have no idea how my mask will look? Stop acting like you know what you’re talking about before you open your mouth. The mask was posted and already finished, which is why I paid. You obviously DID NOT read this entire thread because there’s no way I’d pay for a mask again from him that I did not personally see before I received it. Pay attention if you’re going to try and jump in.

And you want to talk about “disrespect”, look at you jumping on his side instantly by reading ONE of his lame excuses. I haven’t even posted the timeline of BS pm’s he’s sent me since I paid for the mask, that was already made mind you, over 2 months ago. And when you say “this garbage”, do you refer to this WHOLE thread, or just these two recent incidents? Because this whole thread mounts reasons enough that ultimately got him banned, so it can’t all be garbage.

So, since you THINK you know what you’re talking about, assuming you know all the facts, here they are:

Sept. 27: Addison posts Tommy 3.0 Prototype.

Sept 28: I ask him to hold it for a week so I can get some money.

Sept. 29: He says someone is coming to pick it up today, so I pay right away. If someone was going to pick it up, he sure didn’t have a problem with it not being top quality work then :wink:

Sept: 29: He receives payment: “awesome! i’ll ship it soon as post office opens monday.” Then he asks if I want the hair darkened, so I left that up to him as I trusted him.

Oct. 5: “sorry for the delay, makin the hair on the proto perfect before i mail it. its going out on monday with the kemper in there too. thanks for waitin dude” (Second time he said mask would be shipped)

Oct. 16: THE FIRST TIME he mentions flaws in the silicone. Why did he wait 48 days to tell me? He brought up the hair, but not the flaws. Why did that take OVER A MONTH to mention? Yeah you act like that was the reason it took so long for me to get the mask, but he never mentioned it in the first place. So I asked him for closeup shots. He said he ALREADY patched the spots by this point mind you, bet you didn’t know that did ya?

Oct. 22: He sends me a photo of mine and one for Juice, as he mentioned. “I’ll send the one you want tomorrow.” I chose the original one I wanted. Here is his reply: “okay man. i will have tracking for you tomorrow night. sorry again for the delay it has nothing to do with me being shady. i just want to make sure my customers are completely satisfied. considering my past reputation, i dont want to risk anything bad happening or anyone being unhappy with their product. i will talk to you tomorrow with your tracking info.”

I WILL HAVE TRACKING TOMORROW NIGHT! Did you not see that? Oct. 22 he says it was already patched and ready, ok? Isn’t that the THIRD time he said he’d be sending it?

Oct. 30: He posts a mask in the classifieds. No message back yet.

Nov. 1: Still no tracking or email, so I message him, 10 days later, after I see Juice received his, who also lives in LA. We should have both received them at the same time. But even if he didnt send it yet, which he didn’t, you’d expect him to say something since he did say “I’ll be talking to you tomorrow” and 10 days go by and I hear nothing, yet see him post in the classifieds on Oct. 30. I ask for refund.

Nov. 3: He sends mask.


So, tell me where I’m wrong on this? He said 3 separate times the mask would be going out the next day or week :\ That’s called lying man, and if something came up, he would have said "sorry, something came up and I didnt get the mask out, instead of ignoring me, or even just not getting back to me, no matter how busy you are, that’s just common courtesy.

So you want to call that garbage? So how about YOU “take a step back” and KNOW the situation before you step in and blab like you know what you’re talking about. I would like an apology from you.

Well I didnt see any warning because I am new to mask collecting and a new member to this site.I made the mistake of not doing some research to see the seller/mask makers reputation.I trusted Addison becuase of what he promised me of which mask I am exactly getting.If you tell someone “this is exactly the mask your getting”.Then you recieve a completely different version of it,you gonna say something about it.I agree with THREAT.Addison does amazing work.but really sucks with handling business.I already opened a case with paypal.Addison already said he doesnt accept refunds.But now after he calling me a kid and blaming me for ruining a mask that I was not instructed to stuff a mask.piss me the hell off.I did the ADULT thing and filed a claim.A simple refund will end this situation with me.And with this experience I have learned I will not make the same mistake.

So I am gonna do some picture comparisons to show what is going on. the first picture is the faecbook picture he posted that he said is for sale and this was exactly the copy i was going to get and that he would hold it for me.i sent him a payment 2 days after.the second and third picture was what i recieved as you can see I did a shot directly in the sun and one not in the sun to try and show you its not about the lighting.His picture has a grey/white color tone to it mine has more of a burned or a sick pale to it.if you scroll up on this page addison said he realized the copy i want was already sold to someone else.If that was the case you should have contact me immediatley and tell me the version i wanted was sold and if i want another mask or a refund.because at that point i am sure he didnt have a mask made for me.But he went ahead and gave me a variant color of it.This is what he told me on faecbook message

“they each look exactly like that, if you like that copy. they dont have blood stains. i only have a nice c amera and its a pain to set up and get all the pics uploaded, so if you like how that one looks, i have an identical copy for you. and if you definitely want it, i will get the camera out and snap pics in the daylight tomorrow.”

So from a business point of view you ADDISON:
1.Did not inform your payed customer about not having the exact copy
2.You went ahead and sent a variant color in hopes your customer would be satisfied anyways.
3.you insulted me by calling me a KID.
4.You blamed a customer of ruining a mask that was not properly stuffed.when in fact you did not mention anything about how to properly send it back.You assumed I knew how latex mask should be handled.

And this picture was the one on ebay I first saw and then contacted addison on facebook about.Like i said.I was promised a mask that I was exactly going to get.and that promise did not come through.Its like if I ordered a black T-shirt and I recieved a charcoal colored shirt instead.Then you go insult me and say i am a kid.I am entitled for a full refund in my situation.But if you refuse the refund from paypal.then i will have paypal investigate into it and show them these pictures.And if some how you send out another mask after the claim.thats gonna be your problem addison.so dont try to go sneak a mask to me and then later on say “oh i already send you a mask and its to late for a refund”.thats not going to fly by me.there are dates and time transactions on everything.Just give me my money and it will be the end of it.And i dont care if this investigation goes on for months.I am a patient guy I will wait and fight tooth and nail for my money.I have a 5 year old son that money can go to.

I have the masks in person I paint each one the same… I’ve realized people don’t understand that something looks a certain way in certain lighting. Anyway… No one is left in the dark right now. All orders have been filled, just late on sending Halloween83’s Kemper because I gave it to threat to try and mend my delay, which was useless apparently. Hopefully this behavior can simmer down. Youve said plenty of mean things. I’m going to keep on with trying to make customers happy. As they say…haters gonna hate.

Look how childish you are. “Haters gonna hate”? Really? So that WHOLE post of positive replies I made towards you and your work is all hate? I ordered from you again, that’s hate? GTFO with that attitude. The only thing hated here is your service. What part of that don’t you get. You cant say “haters gonna hate” here because it has no meaning. When you lie and say something is going to be shipped three different times and a customer gets upset, they become a hater? That makes no sense. That only works if someone is hating that you’re succeeding. If that were the case I wouldn’t buy from you in the first place and I’d be saying your work sucks instead of saying your work looks “sweet”. Your poor service is what NEEDS to change. People who have received a great mask from you have PM’d me the same thing, they just don’t say anything because they don’t want to jeopardize further transactions with you.

That saying only works when someone is hating on you doing well. Learn the term.

Now, if I had gone in your threads and said “this sucks”, and privately messaged anyone in the thread who liked it and told them not to buy from you, then yes, the “haters gonna hate” term could be used.

If you’re going to say it, know the meaning, don’t just say it to make it seem like you’re above us, which is exactly why you said it :wink:
