In case you guys missed it, they recently just announced that Laurie, Annie, Lynda, and Bob will all be playable characters in the multiplayer and obviously will be in the singleplayer story mode. They did not get the likenesses for any of them I believe it would’ve cost them far too much. I think these reimagined versions still look quite good. I’m definitely going to be playing as Bob in the multiplayer. Additional information is also available on the official game site which I have linked below.

Physical editions of the game were revealed today. This includes the standard edition as well as a collector’s edition. Game still releases on September 8th, but the physical editions will be out about a month later. I’m attaching some photos below of the collector’s edition as well as some skins which they revealed. Not sure I really like the “Samhain” skin, but I’m really digging the clown skin.
Additionally, if you zoom in on the “more surprises” images it appears to be the 2018 mask so this could confirm the new trilogy being included.

I just hate the original skins, both the Samhain and that other crappy one they announced a month ago. I do heavily prefer the clown Myers. Give us more of that, please!
Yeah I’m not a fan of the orginal skins, but it makes sense. The majority of players won’t be diehard fans like us. It’ll make them good money by selling original skins and hopefully with that money they can make DLC for the other films.
Pre-ordered the physical PS5 edition on Amazon! Looking forward to checking it out 
Just as a reminder the physical edition comes out a month after the digital release, but if you don’t mind that then you’re good. I myself got both the digital deluxe and the physical collector’s edition, reckless spending going on over here.

Oh dang, yeah I did see that. I’m cool with waiting a month for the physical. I don’t get why they just can’t time it so the physical is out the same time as the digital version.
That deluxe physical edition with the figure does look pretty sweet.

The developers had a Q&A livestream today that showed some new gameplay and revealed new details. The biggest thing we got out of this stream is that they have confirmed that you will be able to drive the station wagon as Myers.https://x.com/halloweentvg/status/2077171263651373170?s=46

If you watch the one clip of Myers in the house you can actually hear that they’ve updated Myers’ breathing, it has a raspiness to it and he even grunts when he grabs the girl. It’s stuff like this that’s making me really excited, the attention to detail is very promising.
That I did notice, it reminds me of H2 with Warlock slashing at Loomis towards the last pass, a nice touch!
They have lots of little details that I know huge fans like us will enjoy. One of the ones that really made me happy for some reason was the fact that Myers’ animation when he gets blinded is exactly the same as when he gets shot in the eyes in H2 and starts swinging with his face covered.
