They just posted another new teaser on twitter of Loomis and Brackett walking up to the Myers house. We hadn’t seen Brackett before this so hopefully this means he’s playable!
It’s getting really hard to wait now, just a little over 2 weeks away!

Such a surreal time. I know many of us dreamed of having a game like this.
I hope someday we get a VR version of the story.

It’s been a long time since I’ve been active on this forum, but I had to come back to see everyone’s thoughts on the game. I’ve wanted one for as long as I can remember, and I couldn’t be more excited, it’s like a dream come true. I pre-ordered the physical edition for PS5. Really hope they can get the rights to add sequel Myers designs and maps. I specifically want to see H2, H4, and H5.

Really hoping for H2 as well, that’s my #1 want. Hope they get someone who can replicate Dick Warlock’s robotic movements and that they include the H2 music when playing as him.
I think after H2 I’d be most interested in the new trilogy being added, partly because that has the most name recognition so I think it would help with sales and improve the chances of the game being supported for a long time.

They have just announced that, along side the game, a comic series based on the game’s story mode is being made. A digital edition of the comic will come with the digital deluxe edition of the game and a physical version of it comes with the collector’s edition! Posting the covers below as well as an article. This may deserve its own thread so if anyone wants to make that feel free.
It’s really cool that they seem to be going all out for this game with the comic and the Trick Or Treat Studios figure. One thing that I’d be really curious to hear everyone’s thoughts here about, since this forum is very focused on Myers masks, is the length of the mask’s neck in the game. To me, it’s too long. One of the most distinctive details about H1 Myers’ appearance is his exposed neck and chest area, and the long mask neck in the game hides that. I know this is super nit picky, but otherwise, I think he looks great, really capturing Nick Castle’s slim build.

If you scroll up to the very first image I posted in this thread, you can see that his neck area does have skin still exposed. I think perhaps the neck of the mask could be a tad long but if it is, it’s only by a bit. I think they’ve done a really good job with the mask. Does it look just like it does in H1? No, but I think it’s pretty darn close and from certain angles, especially from the side it looks really great.
I already preordered the digital version, so yeah I’m hyped for it! 
I wish the neck skin was more visible tho. The mask looks ok to me, knowing they teased the H40 version also
Just about 3 days away! Man I am stoked. Cant wait to jump straight into the story mode. I’ve heard that you may be able to unlock a ghost Bob skin for Myers through the story mode, which you can then use in the multiplayer.
What’re you guys gonna play first? I’m assuming most of this community will hop straight into the story mode.
Yeah I’m definitely playing the story mode first, and honestly, I’m way more interested in that than the multiplayer. I pre ordered the PS5 physical edition, so unfortunately, I have to wait until October to play it.

Ah I’d go insane if I had to wait another month, but you get it just in time for the Halloween season so that’ll be a great time to go through the story mode.

They just showed off a 4th map that will be in the game, it has the Rabbit in Red Lounge, and the surrounding areas are farmland and industrial buildings. It looks pretty cool. The trailer uses original music and I wonder if perhaps John Carpenter created it just for the game because it sounds quite good.

Yeah I definitely get H4 vibes from it honestly. (Here’s hoping they add H4 in the future, and others). I was really surprised by it, because I thought we were only getting the 3 maps they showed. Also, someone posted that Gamespot accidentally posted their review early, and took it down. Apparently, reviews are supposed to start coming out Thursday, but they gave it an 8/10.
Yep but only for the single player story mode . I also have to wait for the physical copy next month but I don’t mind. Worth the wait

The customization and progression in this game is off the charts! You can even customize Myers’ coveralls color. They’ve shown new skins which appear to be based off of the new trilogy. They appear to be original though so I hope that one day they get the rights to the actual looks.

Yes sir, looks amazing! I love that they let you choose the shade of color for Michael’s coveralls, since that’s been a huge debate for years lol. Also, I noticed what might be two teases at H2 and H4. One of the player cards said “afraid of the dark”, which while a common phrase, could be a reference to Dr. Loomis’ line from H2 when talking about Samhain, “we’re all afraid of the dark inside ourselves”. The other was on a challenge, and is literally a Loomis line from H4, “evil on two legs”. They could just be nothing more than fun little Easter egg references to those films, but I’m really hoping it’s a sign we’ll get them in the future.
