Sorry for making this a thread but I don’t know what else to do.
My paypal name is Signe Henderson and I sent a payment on September 10th, 2009. The last E-Mail I recieved from Cryptco was on September 12, 2009, after that I sent them around 3, the last being on September 21st, 2009. I was told in an email it would take only two weeks, if it takes longer, fine, but I at least need replies. My email is dcluver04@yahoo.com Please get in touch with me.
They don’t respond to emails very well. I placed an order last week and have sent them a few emails trying to get ahold of them about my order and they haven’t responded yet. Not a good practice to follow if you’re trying to earn your new customers trust.
I honestly had the best possible exp with Cryptco. I was updated on the status of my order usually everyday, maybe a day went by with no communication here and there but no major biggie. Before shipping, photos were sent to ensure the mask was exactly the way I wanted all the custom tweaks and requests were met. Definately an A+ transaction !!
Two weeks on a mask is pretty much unheard of in this hobby from all but a select few artists. I’m surprised they told you it would be that quick, especially during this time of year. Every mask on their website is listed at 4-6 weeks.
thats the problem if you go back to the first two posts…inconsistency! It literally takes just a minute to call or email your customers to give them an update. People have been lied to, screwed, and down right ripped off so everyone is a little on edge to which i understand. I do not know Joe or Dusty so anything i post here is just in general about every mask maker out there who is bad with communication.
I understand getting alot of orders so it taking 24hrs to respond, i get that…but nobody there is churning out SO MANY masks that they can’t update you when you ask for it, ESPECIALLY if you’re still taking new orders. I had 5 orders to fill as of last Friday, and not once over the weekend did an email go unanswered. I have 10 orders to do now, and a couple of repaints/hairing, but i treat each of them like they’re my only customer, because i have been the customer before and it sucks knowing you were told something and your money is just “floating” out there somewhere. I learned how to treat customers through guys like David Pope,Tom Smith, and Gary Mongar! back in the day when David was active on the boards and in the community, you couldn’t ask for a smoother transaction and if your order wasnt right…no fuss, he was right there to help! The two other mask makers are the same way…Tom Smith and Gary Mongar. All three of those guys are my friends and I am proud to say I am taking the lessons from them of how to treat a paying customer to ensure trust and a happy customer in the end…
in closing is this…mask makers in general didn’t mind communicating BEFORE the money was transacted, why is there is an issue of communication AFTER?
I had some questions about the Warlock before I bought it and they returned my emails within hours of sending them. I went onto Paypal to buy it shortly after that email conversation and realized I had a few questions about the mask and I haven’t heard anything after 2 emails have been sent. It would just be nice to get an email confirming my payment was received and aknowledged. I had a questions about the size and hair on the mask, and I’d like to make sure I can get what I want/need.
I sent them an email with questions regarding the Warlock and still haven’t got a response from them. I will not order one until they reply. If they never do well then they have lost a customer and i’ll buy one second hand.
Does Joe and Terry… Sorry I meant to type Joe and Dusty have separate email addresses? Maybe hit both up with emails and you might get a response from at least one of the guys. Mike
I’ve been emailing Joe and I’m VERY disappointed in Crypt.Co for not responding to my questions about my order. If I don’t hear from them soon, my next email will be for a refund.
you can take the Ceme out of the Tery, but cant take the Terry out of the Crypt Co? LOL j/k…like i said, I do not know these guys, but if your selling CGP merchandise and bought everything from Terry and all the stuff that went on with him,…CHANGE YOUR APPROACH! these guys should be answering atleast SAME DAY
