Sorry to hear you’re going through this fiasco. I’m going on 3 years and counting waiting for a purchase, it’s partly my fault for becoming friends with an artist who obviously took my kindness as a sign of weakness. The pieces are actually done, just been waiting another four months, for them to get shipped out.

In my opinion I think it would be better for the hobby if all artist did just take a deposit and not the full amount. Then the artist needs to put mask out in order to get paid. Sure the buyers may back out but he/ or she will lose the deposit. And dont give me that “well then we make a mask and have to sit on it” crap because you know damn well it will sell. You will sit on it for maybee a week or two plus get 50 bucks ( or whatever the deposit may be) just for a back out. Also is artist control there orders then they wont get swamped and cant put them out in time. Just think, you never hear of people getting screwed from Chris Morgan or JC. Just sayin…

. I haven’t been friendly towards this artist though, keeping it business when things seemed to go off. There are a lot of other people in a similar situation like you that I have heard stories on the FB page https://www.facebook.com/groups/THEWARNINGCENTER/ . I’m pretty sure that tallman is for my bud who insanely has been waiting even longer than you just for that blank…I’m glad he got the translucent tint right on it. Mine wasnt tinted and looked like glass luckily the very talented artist who finished mine was able to still get it right

Yep, there’s a couple of people waiting longer than me for this. I really can’t get my head around this. 3-4 week quote, and now 221 days later, almost 32 weeks. At least he sent me a message after I commented on the album.

Over a week has passed since I asked Jon for a refund, and he hasn’t even replied. So I just sent him another message.
So is the refund possible or will I have to go another route to get my money back. You have my paypal address so when you’re ready thanks.
Not expecting a decent response, so it’s time to go nuclear. It doesn’t seem like he wants to put the time / effort / or gives a fuck about completing these resin busts, and there are three people on this site alone that I know of who have paid and waiting for the exact same thing.
Seriously, can this guy now go on the list here of people not to do business with? https://forum.michael-myers.net/t/alert-beware-of-these-scammers/45005/1 He comes around here, advertises, at least four people bought the item and are still waiting. This surely must fulfil whatever criteria that list needs.
That’s BS, man. I bet he roams all the social network sites like some king though. I don’t care much for them types. It’s so frustrating. You’ve been too nice and probably due to at least thinking that in time you’ll get what you paid for. I doubt that you’ll see a refund. It’s simply not the way them type operate. He’ll just try to BS you some more or ignore you. The typical smug way. Sucks. Keep the pressure on him. It’s your cash.
That’s inexcusable. There must be something you can do to discredit his reputation. This is one example of why I don’t trust business people.
It’s great to log on to Facebook, and see Monsterpalooza mask show advertising his work and that he will have a booth there taking orders in 2014. I can’t imagine anyone who buys off him there will have their item by the time the 2015 show starts.
He gets a free pass because of his name, pure and simple. If he was an new artist that nobody knew about yet and he treated his customers the way he does, he’d be out of business.
So that explains it…
