I said that in a another thread! Niko has put it off until Xmas now, so at this point I could even wait to see what TOTS has got for us in january, but knowing how tight are 99% of their masks I really don’t expect anything that fits me.
I’m brand new just like you, I’ve been searching for a good looking H1 mask since september and I’m still here, with over 300 messages and yet I haven’t got any, apparently it’s almost impossible to communicate with the best mask makers, getting a response from lower end artists is much easier but if I have to spend more than a hundred it has to be a good one, so I’ve come to the conclusion that 'd rather blow 400 for something good than something close but no cigar. I’m now waiting for Niko from NAG to get back in, giving him another chance.
It’s expensive but I believe doing things right and not settling for something that is going to keep me searching for another one. The TOTS H1 may be okay, but with this hobby, I’ve seen masks that people seem to love, but I don’t see the accuracy they do. If you truly want the accuracy of H1, imo, wait till funds are ready to go and get the castle 75k blank and Nikos will ship it to Freddy Loper for you and you’ll be golden. I got the blank the first week of September and unfortunately just missed Halloween by about 10 days. if you act a little sooner than I did -just missed Freddy’s timeline…you should get it in time for Halloween. Don’t think you should stress about getting it NOW, you’ll have plenty of time when Nikos gets back in.
It’s not bad. But Freddy and JC are specialists. Nikos is the sculptor specialist. You can have a guy build you your dream home but may not want him to paint it. No worries they are all friends and doesn’t mind sending them the work.
