Hey everyone let’s see those Halloween h20 masks ! I’d love to hear what you guys think of the sculpt that Ben did with those masks, I’m fascinated by the mask Ben did, and I’d love to see peoples brothers returns they have ! I just don’t see enough love for the mask, I know it’s not a great mask but the sculpt that Ben did is fantastic so come on show us your h20 masks !
I would but I’m still waiting for mine. I ordered it in September of last year. I was told a year but FFS customer service is non existent. My messages are constantly ignored. The only response I have ever received came after I posted about the issues in a Facebook group and Ben was tagged and that was in August. My last message to them was on October 5th and it was seen but I have yet to get a response. I don’t know if I will ever get my mask but regardless I will never order from them again.
Is it the worst experience you have had from any mask maker you have ever done business with ?
Easily. I have never waited over a year for a mask and been completely ignored before. I’ve bought from Nag, Handiboy, Nightowl, FordFX, Chris Morgan and Martin Pena. I also have masks rehauled my Jimmy Falco and none of them just flat out ignored my messages.
Flat out ignoring you is really really shady in my opinion like proper shady, I’d hate to be in your position right now I really would, and what would you say the best mask maker experience you’ve had is ?
I can’t really say anybody stands out. Everyone I listed responded to messages and made my mask in the timeframe they gave me. My experience with FPS is definitely a first.
I never thought out of most people father phantom would do that, they are based in Birmingham and I’m just 10 miles away from them like a 20 minute drive away, If you want I can look into this issue for you like I said I know where the studio is so it wouldn’t be hard for me to go into there and ask for you, plus my other half’s parents live in Birmingham so it’s more of a reason to go there too
Thanks for the offer but it’s not necessary. if I get the mask I will be more than happy to make a post that they came through but if they don’t you can believe I will be posting in every group about my experience and warning people not to do business with them.
I just hope you get it man, people shouldn’t play with peoples money it’s not right, if I’m honest it’s the buyers right get what they paid for on the estimated date, I think any time over the time given you should have money off of your purchase or some sort of compensation given, so it gives them even more of a reason/incentive to get your mask done in the exact time frame, if you do not get your mask I will definitely support you in any way I can

As for the wait times/communication, all I can say, is its his full time job and he doesn’t just do Myers Masks. He doesn’t seem to be the type of person that would scam you.

That right there is a grail item
I don’t know how much you know, but I used to own one of the H20 Hero masks, which I sold a few years ago, but before I sold it, Ben from FFS came to study it. Take photos, examine the hair type ect.
So I’m in a unique position of having the original and the Brothers Return v2 and I can tell you that the Brothers Return mask is virtually identical to the screen used mask in every way. Side by side… even I couldn’t tell the difference.
Same size, same paint, same thickness, same hair etc.
As far as wait times… communications… yeh, its always a problem with mask makers, but as far as I know, Ben has never ripped anybody off… he always delivers.
If you can handle the wait times, I’d say go for it, you will never get any better.

I did know about you I knew you owned a screen used mask I just never saw the pictures of the screen used one you had but I knew you had it, because when Ben was modelling one but from what I’ve read when you reached out to him at the time didn’t he at first not believe you had the screen used one until you showed him in person then he was surprised because he didn’t think you did ? I swear that’s what I read but indeed that’s a cool story

Ah my bad I got the wrong information then, either way it’s still a cool story, put it this way, if it wasn’t for you having that beauty of a screen used mask, we wouldn’t even have the option to have something that literally looks the exact same as the screen used mask, Thankyou for that man what you did is great for the community honestly !
The only time he has ever responded to me was after i tagged him. Someone suggest today that i try Instagram. I tried it but haven’t heard from him there either.
