That wasn’t mine thank god! Even though that was one that sold for a whopping $695 on ebay! This was mine.
Horribly gray but had atleast some decent detail in the pull. I was able to squeeze $750 out of it on ebay.

His masks are in such high demand that he has adjusted the price. I believe honestly, he himself checked eBay and saw what his masks go for. He was selling them for $350 shipped originally, and people had them on eBay for $800 due to the quality and to avoid his wait. He sees what he can get, and he has now chosen to make the profit rather than resellers. Will he get as many sales? Truthfully, probably so
I’m not a big fan of the RZ masks but that is irrelevant. I respect Justin and Nikos because no matter the demand or crazy resale value, they never adjusted prices. Nikos did tax them about $20 or whatever, but he never doubled the price. I don’t agree with what Dela Torre did but my opinion doesn’t matter to the artist. I’ve been yelled at for calling people out on the prices they were asking for their masks and now DT has assured he will be getting the extra money on his work and not resellers.
I just checked the Vault now myself and all I have to say is “My gosh” he’s almost doubled the prices! last december the clean RZ was only 280, now it’s 400…
$200 for a piece of plastic. Hey if you can get it, get it. I guess…
NoThanks I’ll pass, if I ever order a RZ mask I’ll probably stick with Ford FX, or even ask Nikos if he can make a good one, there are some pictures on his page but can’t really judge them, those few ones in the galery don’t seem too accurate but maybe it’s just the pictures
People selling theirs on ebay for 800+ are selling older pulls that are somewhat decent. The ones he is sending out now are just downright criminal to charge people for.
I agree mate, honestly i think 350 was a bit too low tbh…not that i agree with 700, but then again of the recent pics ive seen of his work maybe 350 is about right now lol.
I’ve been wanting an Aged or a Buried for a while now, but kept putting it off. I can in no way justify $700 for a mask. At the end of the day, latex is latex, and if what some have said about the paint apps decreasing in quality is true, then I think I will definitely be taking my business to Ford FX.
I was in the exact same boat as you mate i wanted a buried and white satin more than any other mask and im fully off the idea now.
I ordered a ford fx buried type mask with a painted underbase this morning !
My project will cost more than DT and everyone else but I’ve commissioned a sculpt and didn’t recast the animatronic head so the results are gonna be a more accurate better mask. I sold all my DT masks recently and the few high priced on eBay are mine. I paid more to have them rehaired and they were older pulls that weren’t washed out like the current. I’m also selling mine with Zero wait time and you’ll be able to see exactly what you’re paying for VS waiting 9+ months for something that isn’t even worth it.

They could be - the process and price I had to pay to commission the sculpt and make these is very costly. I’m also using the best materials and paints on them. I’d consider my mask a high end collectible that you’ll own for a lifetime 
Thats fair enough mate, its good to have levels and you’d definitely be in the upper tier 
Im a massive fan of the RZ films and would pick them over every other halloween except 1 and 2 so I’ll be keeping a very close eye on your work mate !
Any future plans for more of the RZ masks ? A high end version of the dream sequence in h2 would be insane
4 sculpts in total - next will be the “dream sequence” H2 followed by the half mask and clean
Cant wait to see it mate and hopefully own them !
