Don Post 2006 - Myers Mask (FINAL OUTCOME)

Hey guys,

Here is the final outcome of my Don Post 2006 - Myers mask

Some of you may have already seen my first post during my first conversion…

If not then you can see my first process of the mask here if you haven’t already seen it. https://forum.michael-myers.net/t/before-and-after-don-post-2006-michael-myers-mask-conversion/56100/1

Back to topic,

When I started to weather down and paint the mask, I began to see that the mask was not showing a burnt look. Instead it just looked like I threw paint on there, so I went away and purchased a heat gun to burn the eye holes, cheeks, mouth etc.

This was a daunting task for me, but in the end after adding blood textures and more weathering I seemed to have created quite the creepy ‘Mr. Blister’ look that I was going for!

NOTE: I am not a pro at this, so if anybody thinks I did too much or I did ok with it, then please feel free to share your opinions!

nice job…did the heat effect the latex?..is it still flexible or crunchy?

Thanks bud, yes it made the latex more soft, but I’ve stuffed lots of bags inside since and the mask is now ok
