I’m addicted to Critters props and puppets. I may be judged yet.
I think sometimes it may be the area in which we live. I don’t know. I live in a relative small area in Tennessee and I think it has something to do with it at times. I feel perhaps that some people think it’s cool but poke fun at it thinking it’s childish but so be it. I can’t/won’t stop now. True horror fans stick together like one big family. Collect on brothers and sisters.

I understand as for most people Halloween comes but once a year…not for most of us and i waited years to find a decent myers mask and they just werent out there.

Sorry to hear about your girl leaving you for collecting Myers Masks and other horror stuff! My girlfriend and I enjoy watching horror movies together and although she does not like everything horror related i collect, she does love most of it. So there are women out there who will appreciate you and your collection and not be turned off by it. Just have to keep searching man. Good luck!
I will tell ya from my experience as a married man, Michael Myers is a lot less trouble.

I’ve been collecting for around 4 years, been dating my current gf (soon to be fiance) for 2 years and her first reaction to seeing my Myers collection in my room was “that is so freaking awesome”. She loves horror movies and loves the fact I collect these masks she has even offered to purchase me on on my birthday! Guess I am just one lucky SOB lol

When I was dating her I was 34 and she was 24
My current girlfriend is indifferent to my collection, at least she’s not turned off by it
My girl came up in a strict Muslim household, which she didn’t agree with for a long time, but now we are together and I am showing her all the great movies and she loves them. She never even saw Jaws 
I have my horror stuff everywhere, she has her Disney priyncesses everywhere. We both support each other’s interests

Lol yes, small town in south Fl. It is kind of incredible when I think about it. But I knew she was the one when I met her back then. And I still do. She is an amazing human being. Im very lucky and sometimes don’t deserve such a lady in my life.
Never really been judged for collecting any masks since everyone thinks it’s cool… until they find out how much money I spend them. Yet they spend almost the same amount of money on boots, sneakers, and ugly jackets. As for girls, my ex didn’t really mind it at all.
Lol. We get judged everyday in life. From masks to tattoos… luckily my wife is very accepting. She doesn’t understand it but she knows I love the hobby and for that, she’s all in. Great Thread BTW
